I have also seen a sign in the area that said something to the effect of "<i>no more junk yards</i>" referring, I guess, to the fact that there are two or three junk yards right in that area. (Between Sherman & Teutonia) It is a pretty industrial area, but there are homes just west of there (running west from about 39th or 40th street) and I seems that the people in the area may be fighting against some sort of expansion.
