Now comes news (at least news to some people, but not unexpected by others) that Obama will continue his quest to change the United States of America to something more to his liking.

Kind of reminiscent of another gifted speaker from the past when he spoke to the youth of his country.

There is a book being released this week by a group called “ProgressNow” entitled
50 Ways You Can Help Obama Change America. I believe Obama’s speech to American schoolchildren is being timed to coincide with the themes of this progressive activism.

I predict that American schoolchildren will be enlisted accomplices in the affiliated “Help Obama Change America” campaign during this upcoming speech.

I predict heavy reliance on the themes of “service” and “change” in the president’s speech, which, I’d like to add, is being delivered to America’s PRE-K THROUGH 12th GRADE schoolchildren, according to the related “course materials.”

I’ve read the advance copies of the curriculum materials put out by Obama’s Ministry of Education and they refer repeatedly to teachers talking to the children about their “goals.” How much you want to bet these “goals” center around some sort of drawing, letter/story-writing campaign to coincide with the “50 Ways You Can Help The One” theme?

They’ll be submitted to the administration for “review” by Obama’s “Teaching Ambassador Fellows.” (See: Ministry of Education, above.)

Every society in history oppressed by Fascism looked back, many years afterward, and collectively asked itself “How did we let this happen?”

    Pass the Victory gin.

    Read my thoughts on it.

  4. Paul Says:

Too bad my kids will be sick that week.

    Suck on that, Barack.

Seven six two by thirty nine.

  5. Peter Says:

Say ‘Sieg Heil’ to the nice people. Obviously they’ve been studying their Hitler once again.

What else can kids do, besides nag their parents and perform time-wasting eco-rituals assigned in lieu of math?

If he exhorts them to set a goal of “learn to read English at grade level” I will eat a bowl of arugula. I feel pretty safe there.

Actually, I think it’s being timed to coincide with the start of the school year.

Also: This is the sort of thing Republicans have done in the past, including St. Ronald of Tampico.

“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” ~ Vladimir Lenin

“When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.” ~ Adolf Hitler

  9. jodster Says:

As one of the preparatory materials for teachers provided by the Department of Education, students had been asked to, “Write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president. “

Today, after Republicans accused the White House of trying to indoctrinate school children with liberal propaganda the White House and the Department of Education changed the section to now read, “Write letters to themselves about how they can achieve their short‐term and long‐term education goals.”

Gee, do you think they had heard enough complaints from parents?? I HOPE SO!!!!!

I am a public school teacher, and I will NOT be showing this speech to my students.

This guy is like a shoplifter who gets caught and says, “I really didn’t mean it. I’ll give it back and you can let me go.” http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/sep/02/wh-withdraws-call-students-help-obama/?source=newsletter_must-read-stories-today_headlines&

As for Republican Presidents having done something like this in the past, none of them were in the process of trying to destroy our country, and none of them surrounded themselves with 30+ czars or the likes of Van Jones, Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, or others with a history of hating America.

You know, those who refuse to see this guy for what he is remind me of those who think they can ride out a major hurricane. The results are always the same too.

  11. John Says:

Wow, you guys have gone of the deep end. I thought Bush Derangement Syndrome was bad.

I recommend everyone step back, take a deep breathe, and look at what the talk is really about.

Why do the crazies in my party have to be as crazy as the lefties?

  12. John Smith Says:

    May want to start with:
    1. Treat other perfectly capable free adults, like adults. Hold them responsible for their actions. Expect adults to provide for the family/families they created.
    2. Don’t vote for politicians based on greed, envy, and race. Especially ones that take other peoples profits, adults that may or may not have worked hard for their money.
    3. Don’t pretend to be entitled to other people money.
    4. Don’t believe politicians that have sales pitch telling you as an adult, deserve something, you will have to pay for it one way or another. Why let the politician decide what you deserve, how you spend your money.
    5. If you want to give, give, don’t vote to give other peoples money away, that not giving, it taking.
    6. Try wearing a condom.
    7. Show up to work on time and help you employer make money.
    8. Volunteer your time and money if you want to help, not other people money and resources, that really not helping.
    9. Get your kids to school with lunch in hand.
    10. Help your kids with their homework.
    11. Take care of your kids, don’t expect the five year old to baby sit for the three year old while you go out on the town.
    12. Use food stamps to provide for your children, its really not meant for you, the perfectly capable adult.
    13. Use W-2 to actually provide for your children, it really not meant for you, the perfectly capable adult.
    14. If you spend money to catch criminals, spend money to keep them locked up.
    15. Actually take your garbage to the curb.
    16. Quit blaming MPS, they are not responsible for getting your kid to school with lunch in hand. If you can’t get your kid to school, how can you expect anyone to possibly teach them anything.
    17. Don’t steal money meant for actual flood victims.
    18. Use money for heath care instead of cel phones, PS3 games, and cable tv.
    19. Quit blaming Bush and everyone else that has been dishing out billions of dollars for the last thirty years to help you at they expense of their jobs, resources, and their childrens futures.
    20. Expect people to watch their own kids, it is crazy to force other people to pay for you to watch your own kids.

    Almost half way there…

  13. John Smith Says:

    21. Treat community wrecking deadbeats like the scum that they are. Perfectly capable adults acting like cuddled children at the expense of the tax payers. Why are they not expected to take responsibility for their actions, what they created. Instead the tax payer tax responsibility, thanks to Doyle, in the name of the children that don’t get helped. Ask Latasha were all the money went and where the deadbeat significant other is? The should be held responsible, the money should be paid back, by both parents, period. If Doyle wants to give, give, but taking other peoples money is not giving, its taking.

    Broun warns of dictatorship

  15. Jaeson Says:

John, ordinarily I’d agree with you. In fact, I have historically cringed whenever Godwin’s Law has been invoked.

However, this new administration something else entirely. This is the first time I can say with honesty, that there are red flags that indicate a movement to acquire despotic power. Not the least of which are signs that show the Cloward-Piven Strategy is being implemented at lightning speed.

No one wants to believe the worst. However, if it walks like a duck…

  16. corbin Says:

Why would anyone trust this scumbag when his own people at the last minute pulled the issue of telling the kiddies how they could help The One.

So that pull that out and still go ahead with this crap. If I gave you a bid on putting windows in, found out I was a total hack and told me to take a hike would you agree to me turning around and insisting that I re-plumb your house?

This guy is using the tactics used on the Hitler Jugend and Stalin’s young pioneers. He knows what he’s doing. The youth in this country are vapid idiots.. the NEA started it, politicians will finish it.

As I’ve said before, i’m beginning to really hate my country. Bunch of soft headed morons who can’t smell crap when it’s put directly in their face.

  18. corbin Says:

    Hey Jaeson,

Why not? They have all our jobs. I could easily see a libtard or a Rino pulling the same thing. Remember, we can’t find the people here.. or so we are constantly told by our congress critters who take their orders from the money pigs, not the people.

Fly the flags of china, india, mexico .. who gives a damn. It’s for sale.

  19. Jay Says:

I pledge alliegence to the debt…One Nation under Obama with Heathcare and welfare for all

  20. Jay Says:

Barry’s little speech and indoctrination is going to backfire and backfire big time. When you start using peoples kids most people get upset. If Barry thinks people are wee-weed up now wait until he tries this.

People are beginning to see through this hollow man. The first tests are coming in NJ and in VA this November.

  21. J. Bavet Says:

The guvmint schools have “indoctrinated” children for years! And what about “No Child Left Behind” and the previous Idiot in Chief?? The truth is, if Bush, Cheney, and McPain weren’t so bad, Marc Levine and the other so-called “conservatives” wouldn’t be whining so much about Obumma, because he would not have been elected. From “Mission Accomplished” to spending like a drunken sailor, Bush and Cheney did their best to trash the party of Ronald Reagan. And to add insult to injury, the GOP picked another Viet Cong Marxist “maverik” to finish off the destruction! The American sheeple get what they deserve, they voted this guy and his Chicago thugs into office.

  22. Roland_Melnick Says:

Another 15 minutes worth of hot air from an already overexposed President pales in comparison to years of programming our kids are getting on junk Gorebal Warming “science” and revisionist history books. I don’t think this particular “event” is that huge a deal…of course, I reserve the right to change my opinion if el Presidente steps outta line with this.

  23. Patrick Dorwin Says:

  24. Paul Says:

Maybe Barack can explain to the public school kiddies why the spawn of Alfred E Neumann and a Wildebeast can attend private school, while the public school kiddies are stuck in union-run hell.
