Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
–Mark Twain
In an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams, former President Jimmy Carter removed all doubt when he said, “I think an overwhelming portion of of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man… That he is African American.” Carter goes on to talk about racism still existing, and it has “bubbled up to the surface because of a belief by many white people, not just in the south, but around the country, that African Americans are not qualified to lead this great country. it’s an abominable circumstance, and grieves me and concerns me very deeply.”
Yes Jimmy, if those protesting against Obama were about racism, it would be an abomination, but to say that the millions of Americans that have risen to fight the Obama policies are doing it because they are racists, is just plain stupid. This country continues to be driven deeper and deeper into debt, government becomes even more invasive and most congressional Democrats want to socialize the best medical care in the world, nationalizing 1/6th of the national economy and destroying the quality of care. We continue the fight against these policies, not because of the color of the president’s skin, but because the things he wants to do to this nation are wrong for America.
I want people out there to realize that We The People, are winning this fight, the left’s use of racial politics proves that they can not win this fight if argued with facts. They are desperate, and will continue to fight dirty in an attempt to intimidate the opposition, but we can not allow them to win, this war is for America’s future!

I remember coming to the conclusion during the run-up to the nomination that so many congressional democrats were flocking to BHO because he could be controlled. Maureen Doud’s claim that she hear Rep. Wilson say, “You lie, boy” strikes close to the mark, but not for the reasons she suggests – its because Pelosi and Reid have indeed boyified the presidency to advance their adgenda as they could not have done with Hillary. Thus, congressional democrats, sacred that Wilson has indeed outed THEM by his comments…are engaged in a massive diversion scheme.

According to Rasmussen Reports, this particluar”j’accuse”is just not selling. “12% Say Most Opponents of Obama Health Care Plan Are Racist”– which isn’t much, considering that you can find 12% to believe in almost anything (‘Truther’ theories, for example).

Ok, lets play the race card if the race card is played:
~50% of 2 million American prison population is black.
Estimate that the majority of the prison population turns over every thirty years. So in thirty years at least 3 million black Americans will have achieved felony status.
Let estimate a family as two grand parents, two parents and two children. One male grand parent, one male parent.
If there are 36 million black Americans, ~12 million males.
3million/12million x 100% = 25% of Black male achieve felony status. This is the bed the people playing the race card are setting up for their children. 49% Truancy rate in Milwaukee?
The Tea party is not racist, it has nothing to do with black Americans in particular, just America. It is all about taking peoples money with penalty of great fine (frozen bank accounts) or jail time to be given to other perfectly capable free adults that many people have given their lives to protect. The tea party is about our government enslaving the people with tax and control of our life care. Its about expecting perfectly capable adults to take responsibility for themselves and what they’ve created. It not the governments functions to play babysitter, people have fought and died to protect this this we call freedom. Not right to free babysitter, life care, and food stamps.

Another thing people need to remember is, Democrats don’t need to convince a single Republican legislator. Democrats hold filibuster-proof majorities, and couldn’t, on their own stop anything. The fact is, Obama and liberal leadership in Congress have lost their own people, because they know that their constituents will hold them accountable for their part in this drive towards Socialism.

Democratic Socialism = facisism
September 16th, 2009 at 8:50 am
OK, I can’t spell: “Facism”

@ Patrick
“Another thing people need to remember is, Democrats don’t need to convince a single Republican legislator. Democrats hold filibuster-proof majorities,”
I don’t think this is true any more with the vacant seat in Massachusetts. Dems only have 59 seats and 60 is the magic number.

Doubt about Jemmah Cahtah? Any such doubt was blown to smithereens three decades ago!
re: Mo Dud
Her comment is simply indicative of her party’s perpetual Neverland, psychotic mental status. By it she proves who the real racist is.
re: Rasmussen
The most stunning stat: “Among African-American voters, 27% say most opponents are racist, 25% disagree, and 48% are not sure. ”
This even as 95%+/- of blacks voted for Obama. Seems even they are getting sick of the faux race card.
Guys like this him – http://varight.com/?p=2121
Patrick is right, we are winning this.

Having endured Carter’s miserable turn at the wheel in the late 70′s, I just can’t understand how this incompetent buffoon remains relevant.

Carter is one of the nutjobs that told perfectly capable adults that they deserved everyone else to pay for a house for them. What a nut job. People are giving up their lives to protect our freedoms and he trades freedom to entitle perfectly capable adults not acting like adults.
No one deserves anything at the expense of others, period. We choose to band together to insure our freedom, we do not band together to give perfectly capable adults nice new house and Jaguar convertible.
Carter is so wrong to volunteer other peoples resources and freedom, he was right to get of his a__ and do it himself if wanted to help. Our governments function is not to take from others to give to perfectly capable adults and other countries, they do not deserve it. You want to give or help, get off your a__ like Carter did, but don’t volunteer everyone else, don’t try and take away my freedom and resources.

I think Carter needs a mental health exam.

Waters: Protesters should be probed for “racist” thoughts

Maxine wants us prosecuted for thought crime.
September 16th, 2009 at 6:23 pm
These people are so desperate. They don’t seem to understand that this foolish tactic is going to galvanize people against them. I would ask Waters if it is racist to despise Jimmy Carter, because I dislike him for the same reasons that I (and millions of others) dislike Obama… It’s because they are Socialists, now they are race baiting socialists.
This asinine tactic will also harm the fight against true racism, ever hear of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf“?
Now I suppose some moonbat will call me a racist because I used the word boy… Desperate fools.
September 16th, 2009 at 6:41 pm
Maxine Waters is desperate to have someone probe her… preferably someone well equipped for the task.

BHB, what a terrible thing to say! Do you realize the mental image that puts into ones mind? OMG, how dare you!
September 16th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
Mental bleach! STAT!!!
September 16th, 2009 at 7:42 pm
I totally agree: ‘Playing the Race Card’ Is a Risky Political Ploy
September 16th, 2009 at 8:10 pm
Patrick hit on an important point.
Using race to shield a politician or their agendas is not only repulsive, but it diminishes and trivializes true instances of racism.
Furthermore, such desperate measures indicate that there is no intellectually based defense of those politicians or their agendas.

Obama disagrees with ole’ Jimmy.
September 17th, 2009 at 10:28 am
Right after he threw the Czechs and the Poles to the wolves.
Are these two countries the designated whipping boys for Democratic administrations?
September 17th, 2009 at 8:27 pm
Nancy Pelosi is all choked up as she remembers the rhetoric of the 70′s that resulted in violence. sniff-sniff
Does anyone doubt that she would secretly rejoice if some nut actually did something stupid towards Obama or any Dem pushing us towards Socialism?

Jimmy Carter: now The. Worst. Ex-President. Ever. Not to mention now The. Second. Worst. President. Ever.
An epic FAIL.
September 18th, 2009 at 9:12 am
Looks like the Dems in Massachusetts are hard at work resolving their issue of not having a filibuster proof majority.
