Thursday afternoon, an unprecedented pick-up game took place on a converted tennis court on the White House lawn, closed to the press, at which President Obama hooped it up with bevy of cabinet secretaries (including Tim Geithner, Arne Duncan and Ken Salazar) and 13 members of Congress, including 2 Republicans.

The event was closed to reporters, according to Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, “To protect the privacy and the statistics of any of those involved.”

A little more than 12 hours later, Obama was informed he had won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Seriously, it must really suck to be this guy. Hope it doesn’t go to his head.

I wonder which RINOs went to play b-ball with the Pantywaist-in-Chief.

I know Gibbs wasn’t. Manboobie Baghdad Bobby would have a coronary on court.

I’m sure he’s crying all the way to the bank.

After Al Gore won, does anyone even take this seriously anymore?

Out playing B-ball, taking his wife out for million dollar dinners on the taxpayer dime.. golfing every sunday for at least 5 hours. His wife goes out to buy “organic kale” that would cost you $8, but cost the taxpayers over a million dollars with security etc.

Gosh, where is the press ?

The bastard has time to play basketball while brave men are getting shot and killed over in Afghanistan and he can’t make a f%#king decision to send them the help his own General is asking for. Where’s Code Pink? How about a msm daily body count like they did during the Vietnam War and when Bush was in Office? Hypocritical bastards!

  7. Bruce Says:

You’re right, Glenn. They are hypocritical bastards.

Hey, where’s Cindy Sheehan these days? Oh, that’s right. Her life hasn’t changed. Still doing her thing, the media’s just not paying any attention to her any longer.

    God Bless our troops.

McChrystal obviously did the math on this before his request for more troops. All Obama has to do is order it and it will be done. A few more weeks before this decision can be made? Even after approval, those troops aren’t going to appear there overnight.
Look at the Long War Journal article on Camp Keating firefight for a description of hell.http://www.longwarjournal.org/threat-matrix/archives/2009/10/an_early_accoun

On the other hand, a complex bill on health care is rammed down our throats and debate on it is called mean spirited or racist.
