I wish I had this recorded so I could get the name, but I heard on the radio that the mother of one of the men charged in the tire slashing case says that the only reason her son and the other four men are being tried is “because Gwen was elected.” Referring of course to Congresswomen Gwenn Moore, who’s son was among the five that slashed the tires on a fleet of vans to be used by the Republican Party to take people to vote.

Of course this is, in her mind, retaliation for Gwen Moore being elected and has nothing to do with the fact that her son and the others committed a crime.

I’m going to try to get the audio of this moonbat, I will post it if I get it.

UPDATE: Audio posted here

Michelle Malkin is also covering this story on a national level.

UPDATE: Comments from Congresswomen Gwen Moore

I believe that my son is innocent, unless, ahh, the facts prove otherwise.

It’s the liberal mentality in a nutshell: The ends justify the means.

In her mind, her son was doing the right thing by slashing the tires on the Republican vans. He committed no crime.

But why is she worried? Her son will just cop a plea and do community service or get off entirely. What else should we expect from McCann?

It would’ve taken far more than the 20 vans (and cheating on a ‘Rat scale) for the Pubbies to take the 4th Congressional seat. Of course, all the buses were busy on Chicago-to-Wisconsin runs, chartered by the ‘Rats to deliver the state to Kerry.

That’s rich. And the War in Iraq would fall into which category then?

Hey McCarthy! Are you ever going to answer my question?

Should the United States give Iraq back to Saddam Hussein? If the invasion was illegal, unjustified and illegitimate, and if Iraqis were better off before we got there, then isn’t it logical that we give Iraq back to Saddam, the duly elected president of Iraq?

Nice try at a red herring, libtard.

I take it you think the tire-slashings weren’t a crime. Those Democrat “activists” were just doing the right thing.

‘Scuse me. Does she not have a job she is supposed to be doing? I hear Jesse Jr. is on the witness list. What in the #*&(^#!)&@#^*) does he have to say?
