Well, so far, the old saying “March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb” is holding true. In this first day of March, the lion roared all over the nation. We has a nasty snow storm, with that freaky Thunder Snow, then as the day went on, it turned into rain and a thunderstorm. Driving was rough all morning and a roof collapsed over a grocery store in Brookfield.
But we here in Wisconsin got off easy. In Alabama, a tornado tore through a school, killing 15 students, and the death toll across the state is at least 18 along with more than 50 injuries.
A tornado also killed a 7 year old girl in Missouri.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those involved in these horrible incidents.
