What is WISN doing? If they insist on piping in a radio show from Madison, at least they could make it sound decent, it sounds like she is doing the radio show from a cell phone. The audio quality stinks, it is like listening to an old time AM radio station that is almost out of range or not tuned in right… This is not the quality you expect from a 50,000 watt radio station.

Perhaps she’s doing it from a home studio over ISDN like some hosts do?

  2. Patrick Says:

If she is, they better fix it quick, because people aren’t going to listen to what WISN is putting out now.

LOL Welcome to Madison, folks. I am guessing she’s doing her show from the WIBA studios. That’s how their station always sounds. This is why I listen to Milwaukee radio.

I know I just don’t get it and all, but she does nothing for me.

You mean she is supposed to sound like she is doing the show using a can and a long string? Hope Bott has Dan’s phone number handy…

I listened to McKenna once………never again. She sounds like Jessica McBride when she was on the radio. Such a schreeching, “fingernails on chalkboard” voice. Keep her in Madtown…….please! WISN, you screwed up.

Most of us liked Dan and Nicole. I was dubious when the started, and I grew to like them a bit. They’re gone.
Let’s at least give McKenna a chance. Think of Aaron Rogers taking over for Favre. That’ll hurt.
At least McKenna is Kathleen Dumm.

I listened for a while and wonder why she is on. I heard nothing that would make me switch from 620 . I miss the spinners

  10. Bruce Says:

So I listened to a few minutes of her show today. How did the engineering sound today vs. yesterday? Did she sound better or worse?

  11. Pete Fanning Says:

Eh….no different in my book….except the two times I’ve turned her on she’s talking about immigration….a national topic….okay….fine…move on to something local…which she finally did…..addressing the poverty article in the J/S…at least someone pointed it out too her….but I still find it HARD to believe a talker in Madison has any authority to comment on the state of poverty conditions in Milwaukee…..

Oh…and I still want her to take that darn picture of herself wrapped in the flag down….

  12. Patrick Says:

Oh Pete, I see what you mean by the picture on her website, I am with you on that!

BTW, her website sucks on Firefox because of that stupid dashed line, it throws off the iframe so you have to scroll to the side… Perhaps they don’t use horizontal rule’s in Madison HTML.

  13. Pete Fanning Says:

By the looks of it…she’s using FrontPage to edit her website..so passe…..and she’s using map coordinates…ack…..bleah……

Dreamweaver is where it’s at if you are designing, and you’re right about the Firefox thing…..forgot to mention that detail…the scrolling is very irritating……..

  14. Bruce Says:

The reason I asked whether she sounded better than yesterday is that when I listened for a bit today, she sounded exactly the same as every person on WIBA-AM in Madison. I wouldn’t expect it to get much better.

I did think it was priceless when she challenged the “Milwaukee mayor” (then she found her notecard, and called him Mayor Barrett) to come on her show and talk about “Milwaukee’s crime problem”. Yeah, right… that’s gonna happen. I wouldn’t sit by the phone, Vicki.

Oh, and her bumper music makes me want to inhale.

  15. Patrick Says:

I listened (for a few minutes) from home today and it didn’t sound as bad, but that could have been because of having a better radio than the on in my work van.

Nice to read so much negativity of so little substance from the same pack of moonbat liberals who voted for Nicole in the first place.

The key is content, not Howard-Stern-lite trash-talking spin heads. We all know it takes at least a 3 digit IQ to understand conservative talk radio so I guess you pin heads jumping to a predictable lefty attack of a conservative talker after only a few minutes of listening, if you did at all, is no surprise.

And on top of that, most of you jealous lefties can’t even spell, or know how to use a spell checker.

Here’s a News Flash for you: Fidot liberals blog on this site!

Need I say more? Probably, but it’s just not worth my time.

I heard her for the firs time on Monday. Personally, I enjoyed the 30 or so minutes I tuned in. And would recommend her if your a conservative.
