Over the past few days, all of the talk about Barack Obama has been about his minister and a little talk about Tony Rezko, since he is currently on trial, but Mr. Obama also has a strong link to William Ayers. That name is probably familiar to many of you, but younger readers may not know it.

William Ayers was a member of the radical 1960′s domestic terrorist group called the Weathermen, or the Weather Underground Organization. This group wanted to violently overthrow the American government, and they planted bombs in 25 government buildings, including the Pentagon in the 60′s and 70′s, as well as being part of many other “civil disobedience” activities.

An interview with Ayers was published, oddly enough, on Sept. 11, 2001, in the New York Times.

Here are a few of the quotes from the man said by a member of Obama’s staff, to have a friendly relationship with Barack Obama.

”I don’t regret setting bombs,” Bill Ayers said. ”I feel we didn’t do enough.”

”Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon,” he writes. But then comes a disclaimer: ”Even though I didn’t actually bomb the Pentagon — we bombed it, in the sense that Weathermen organized it and claimed it.”

So, would Mr. Ayers do it all again, he is asked? ”I don’t want to discount the possibility,” he said.

Ayers was never prosecuted, he successfully stayed in hiding until the statute of limitations ran out, then he came out of hiding and became “a Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

President of the… WTF?

Obama is awesome! Obama in O8′

  2. Roasted Peanuts Says:

You have got to be kidding me. Obama was a professor at UC several years ago. To cite an unnamed source connecting him to someone he may have only meet is a joke. I don’t read this site for stupid stuff like this. If you want to argue policy fine, but this story is less than crap.

  3. PCD Says:

RP, you ignorant slut, to quote Dan Akroyd. Obama, himself, admitted knowing Ayers well. Now, go run away to lick your liberal wounds.

  4. PCD Says:

OH, RP, watch Hannity and Colmes tonight. You’ll get to hear Ayers himself.

  5. JJ Says:

This is ironic, I am a San Francisco liberal, as they say, and I am shocked, at how other liberals are willing to defend Obama. It is pretty scary, this man’s connections to people like Ayers and others, and yet his supporters dont care. This is fascism. They arent liberals, they are fascists and just dont know it. That is what is truly scary. Obama is a racist, black supremist. His association with a black liberation church, for more than 20 years is beyond belief. How liberals in the Democratic, party can excuse this will be the downfall, of the party, and ultimately this country if he is not stopped.

  6. PHIL Says:

IS SAD BUT TRUE , THE MEDIA HAS YET TO LOOK INTO THIS STORY, BUT A FEW FACTS I KNOW, I GREW UP IN CHICAGO AND HAVE FOLLOWED OBAMAS RISE IN POLITICS AND YES IT IS TRUE THAT HE HAS A CONNECTION TO BILL AYERS,INFACT THEY SPENT MANY EVENINGS TOGETHER HAVING DINNER AT AYERS HOUSE,AND BILL HAD A FUND RAISER FOR OBAMA AND HELPED LAUNCH HIS ILLINOIS SENATE RUN, THE PROBLEM HERE FOR OBAMA IS THE TREND OF TIES OBAMA CHOSE TO LINK HIMSELF TO, LIKE AYERS AND REV.WRIGHT AND THATS NOT ALL , HIS FRIEND SENATOR JONES IN THE ILLINOIS SENATE IS PRETTY SHADY TOO, HE WAS A BIG HELP LAUCHING OBAMA AND HE IS NOW FIGHTING THE REPUBLICANS IN THE ILLINOIS SENATE TO TRY AND STOP A ANTI-CORRUPTION BILL FROM PASSING,HE IS TRYING TO SAVE HIS OWN SKIN,ALOT OF BACK ROOM DEALS WERE MADE WITH JONES ,FOR HIM TO GET PROMINATE PEOPLE TO BACK OBAMA IN HIS FIRST RUN AT OFFICE, OBAMA EVEN SUED THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO HAVE HIS OPPONENT REMOVED FROM THE TICKET AND HE SUCCEDED, THEN RAN UNOPPOSSED,

  7. Debbie Says:

I know I am not the only one who realizes that if it was a white candidate attending a church preaching about anit-blacks and attending KKK meetings he or she would have been strung up by now. Enough of the reverse discrimination!

  8. big_hairy_bubba Says:

See the good Reverend’s retirement home details at http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/03/27/obamas-former-pastor-builds-a-multimillion-dollar-retirement-home/ Now let’s hear the apologists explain how “the Man” has held poor Jeremiah down all his life.

  9. mickey Says:

Looks like Baracks $22,000.00 donation will pay for the Corian counter tops for the wet bar. Michelle Obama was right, our kids need to go into the “Urban ministry”. We can help all those people, DAMN America, hate jews, talk about GARLIC NOSED ITALIANS, and still get rich.

  10. n2jersey2 Says:

Friends, you all seem to have made your minds up concerning Obama’s relationships with Wright, and now Bill Ayers.
Well, after a weekend of finding out that the government “illegally” wiretapped Dr. King, a man who was, at the most, only guilty of being black in America, and that the guy standing over Dr. King, at the time of his “murder”, was a CIA operative, it begs to infer that, maybe Wright wasn’t far off when he refered to this country as the US of KKK A!
You see, I can’t tell the difference, were the KKK ends & the FBI begins. Was Hoover a klansman? Someone answer that for me!
Or for that matter, any police department, of any city in the US, could qualify for a kkk militia.

  11. TosaDan Says:

Considering Kings height of popularity was during the term of democrat President are you inferring that all Democrats are racist?

Keep in mind King was assassinated while Johnson was president. So using your ridiculous powers of deduction then I can only assume that all Democrats are racist by nature, including Obama.

  12. TosaDan Says:

My last post was directed at the glue sniffer on #10.

  13. n2jersey2 Says:

    Dear TosaDan,
Please answer the question before you attack me. But your opinion is valued, so do not think that I see you as an antagonist. Believe me, when I say that America is the greatest country on this planet, even though, after slavery, it went out of it’s way to convince 5,000,000 people that to leave it, would be the best plan for them(Marcus Garvey). Then at the turn of the century, went out of it’s way to convince 2.5 million people that they should leave their southern homes in the south, because “some very mean guys” wanted their land(Rosewood, Fla.). Or, that during the Missouri Floods of 1921, decided that “ALL” black folk(men, women, and children) need not evacuate the flood zone, but should stand in as “human” levees, to protect the threatened areas, with the promise that they would be compensated later(a promise later reneged on by soon-to-prez Herbert Hoover).
    Now, answer the question!!!

  14. n2jersey2 Says:

Question-Whether democrat or republican, who has stood tall for the rights of black people to live as Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, John Hancock, and John Adams stated in the Declaration of Independence?

    Answer-We Have!

  15. TosaDan Says:

I don’t believe your question warrants an answer. Other then a blind accusation and incoherent rambles you have no fact for your claim.

Now if you want to argue whether or not Hoover was a cross dresser then maybe you have something.

  16. TosaDan Says:

See you even got me thinking of the wrong Hoover. You are rambling about the FBI and I’m thinking about J. Edgar Hoover. None the less you’re claim has no fact behind it and I’m not entirely sure what you are talking about beyond typical conspiracy theory stuff.

    Good Luck to ya.

  17. n2jersey2 Says:

    My friend,
Have you ever heard of Rosewood, Florida? You must have access to the internet, so your ignorance can only be explained by your “typical” whiteness. But do me a favor, and google “Rosewood”, “the 1921 Missouri Floods”, “Marcus Garvey & the Black Star Line”. As a matter of fact, find a book, any book about the history of black people. Google “cointelpro”, and then we can talk……otherwise, you’re “typical”!

  18. Patrick Says:

    Listen to that Moonbat howl!

  19. TosaDan Says:

    Bruce,

In my defense he was talking about the FBI and then mentioned Hoover so it’s easy enough to assume he was talking about J. Edgar Hoover. Had I known for sure he was talking about Herbert Hoover then I wouldn’t of made the comment about Hoover and cross dressing.

  20. Bruce Says:

TD, I removed my comment before you even posted this. I was trying to be humorous, but realized that my comment belittled your honest mistake.

I actually thought you were both referring to Robert Hoover, President of Delta House.

And, for the record, we can’t afford to have a toga party. We’re on double secret probation.

  21. Peter Says:

    Somebody get a net!

  22. TosaDan Says:

He could be talking about Susan Hoover of Hoover vacuum fame. Excuse me if my whiteness is showing.

  23. TosaDan Says:

He does have a valid point about Rosewood its certainly a dark moment in Florida/US history and many people died senselessly.

I’m not sure what COINTELPRO specifically has to do with race as it was a program that targeted a lot of people and groups.

Missouri thing you got me, other then Herbert Hoover assisted in the recovery efforts.

I don’t know who Marcus Garvey is and at this point I won’t take the time to look it up.

  24. n2jersey2 Says:

    I rest my case!

  25. Bruce Says:

I am not choosing any side, I am only supplying this for purposes of the public interest:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_Garvey

Now, back to my regularly scheduled rerun of Law and Order.

  26. TosaDan Says:

n2jersey2: Please explain what case you are trying to make.

  27. n2jersey2 Says:

I’m sorry for throwing too many things at you guys. I’m not that computer literate, so posting particular websites & things like that is beyond me. But my statements of past US history is well founded and can be proven, to those who respect the truth & strive to know more.
America truely is a great country, even though the acts of a few states have corrupted the delicate process of democrazy.
Barack Obama’s pastor should not be his “monkey”, for his intentions are honest & forthright. He wants to make a difference, for every man, woman & child.
This guy Ayers, if he was such a bad guy, then why isn’t he in jail, and not being hung around Obama’s neck, like dashiki?
I would not have mentioned any of those topics, if I couldn’t back them up with facts. I just wish that you guys would give me the benefit of the doubt, and look up some of the topics I bought up.
Cointelpro killed King, Herbert Hoover used the Missouri floods to get elected president & he used the national guard to make sure no black person excaped working on the levees, although the Carrier Family was held responsible for allowing the Rosewood tragedy to escalate, over 1200 men, women & children were slaughtered from Texas to Tennessee to S.Carolina to the Florida coast, just because a white woman said a black man had raped her(proven false)!
That the day after Dr. King gave his speech on the mall, in 63′, J Edgar Hoover issued a memo, stating that Dr. King was “The Most Dangerous Man in America”! WHY?
What was so dangerous about his words? What is so dangerous about anybody’s words? Freedom of speech is this country’s crowning glory!

  28. Bruce Says:

For making your tin foil hat...

  29. TosaDan Says:

n2jersey2: I guess what you are trying to say is that The Good Rev. Wrights comments are justified because of events in the past where black people were mistreated.

Sounds like you are painting the history of America with a very narrow brush to justify Wrights vile and hateful message.

You need to understand that Wright is more then Obamas pastor. He is his mentor, his spiritual adviser, he married Obama and his wife, baptized his children. He has known the man for more then 30 years. Obama’s relationship with Wright goes much deeper then that of a typical pastor/parishioner relationship.

Reverend Wright spews hate when he speaks. He is a racial divider and not a uniter as some would like America to believe. This works against Obama on two levels. Either he new this was the type of person Wright was and still embraced him or he had no idea who Wright was and still embraced him.

Either Obama is a liar or a poor judge of character, I say he’s both.

You ask about who Ayers is and if he was such a bad guy why isn’t he in jail. The answers to that are simple. He committed crimes that he proudly admitted too, he laid low until the statute of limitations ran out so he couldn’t be prosecuted. Its highlighted by author of this post with links to support the validity of the claims.

As to the Obama-Ayers ties your questions will be answered if you choose to do the research.

So excuse me if my typical whiteness is showing.

Do not attempt to feed the troll.
    I repeat…TROLL ALERT

    That is all.
We now rejoin our normal blogging schedule, albeit feeling a little dumber for meeting the Tin Foil man from Joisy.

  31. Rhino54 Says:

I couldn’t help but read that the question was posed, Republican or Democrat who has helped black people more? The answer is actually quite simple. Republicans. A quick glance at history will show you that the party system didn’t really come into effect unil Andrew Jackson was in office. At that point you had Whigs and Democrats. Later on the Republican party was formed. This led to the end of the Whigs and a lot of anti-slavery Democrats switched parties. They did this because the Republicans were the ones that were trying to, although slowly, eliminate slavery.

I also recall that the Emancipation Proclamation (the declaration that outlawed slavery, and led to the end of slavery) was formed by President Abraham Lincoln, a Republican.

I would presume that the end of slavery was the most significant event in black US history. That being said, Thank you Republicans.

  32. Patrick Says:

Let us also remember that it was the Republicans that rammed through the Civil Rights advances in the ’60′s. It was a Democrat president that signed the bill, but Democrats in Congress fought against all of the civil rights legislation, and Al Gore’s father was one of the biggest opponents, participating in filibusters trying to stop legislation.

  33. mickey Says:

The Democrat Party claims blacks. They claim to care for blacks. Blacks vote for them in droves.
They talk the talk and hand out cash to “black causes”.
Blacks have taken the bait for the most part. They demonize anyone that would challenge a 45 year Great Society that has failed.
How are our blacks doing in education?
So naturally libs/Democrats promise blacks more of the same.

  34. TheIdealVoice Says:

We need to keep in mind party mutation, as the party of Lincoln is not the same as the party of Bush/Goldwater/Paul, it is rather different. Same goes for dixiecrats, so it is no wonder people like the late Sen. Thurmond became members of the GOP in later years as many of those same dixiecrat ideals are alive and well in Southern Branch of the Republican Party.

  35. mickey Says:

The Democrats are not the Party of JFK anymore.
That is true. JFK was a Patriot. Rodham, Obama and Pelosi are not.

  36. big_hairy_bubba Says:

#32 – JFK first introduced what later became the civil rights act of 1964 to Congress in 1963. LBJ championed the act after JFK was assassinated, proclaiming his desire to see it enacted as a tribute to JFK.

TV video of Bull Connor beating King’s protesters who sat passively in protests may have done more to insure passage than the support of any politician.

It was the northern democrats and the republicans allied against the southern democrats (or dixiecrats) that finally broke the filibusters and passed the bill.

  37. mickey Says:

You’re right B-h-b, and no Dem today is anything like JFK was.

  38. TosaDan Says:

Reagan said it best when he said; “I didn’t leave the democratic party, the party left me.”

It seems that the democratic party is attempting to leave the United States all together.

  39. n2jersey2 Says:

Ronald Reagan, the president who ran when 270 marines were killed in Beirut, because he saw what it would take to hold down an entire muslim population.
    Take notes Neo-Cons!

  40. n2jersey2 Says:

I mis-spoke, it was the Mississippi Flood of 1927 that propelled Herbert Hoover to the presidency, at the expense of black people he used as a “human levee”. They were convinced to do so at the barrel of a gun!

  41. n2jersey2 Says:

Would it be that far fetched to say that if America could do that to human beings in 1927, that they might be compelled to inject the hiv virus into a few million unsuspecting black folk, in the interest of germ warfare?

Rev. Wright may have been speaking the truth after all! If not, state your rebuttals.

  42. n2jersey2 Says:

I see that Hannity is going to interview Gov. Jesse Ventura tonight! It sure would be fun to see the two of them get into it over patriotism, being that Ventura served, and Hannity “ducked”!

  43. big_hairy_bubba Says:

jersey – we put too much faith in Church’s Fried Chicken. If we ever find out who blew the whistle on that one….

  44. n2jersey2 Says:

Yo, I have the utmost respect for Phil Donahue & Jesse Ventura! The both of them gave all they had to the lap-dog Hannity. “Two planes taking down three buildings?” Jesse Ventura deserves an award for that one.

Phil Donahue spoke nothing but the truth, but Hannity said that “that’s un-american”! Rev. Wright clapped on that one. How dare you speak ill of this country(that we love)!

The truth hurts……ask any fake republican, he’ll be the one calling you “un-american”!

  45. corbin Says:

I hate to tell you all, but I personally invented aids for the black population.

I’m attempting to take over the world. In the interim.. enjoy this little piece.

    http://www.thetartan.org/2008/4/7/news/obama

While the crowd was indeed diverse, some students at the event questioned the practices of Mrs. Obama’s event coordinators, who handpicked the crowd sitting behind Mrs. Obama. The Tartan’s correspondents observed one event coordinator say to another, “Get me more white people, we need more white people.” To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, “We’re moving you, sorry. It’s going to look so pretty, though.”

“I didn’t know they would say, ‘We need a white person here,’ ” said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama. “I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn’t know it would be so outright.”

  46. mickey Says:

Remember the UW booklet that had black people photo-shopped into the picture. I believe it was a football game photo.
It’s the LIBERAL UTOPIAN PRETEND WORLD!!
In this world, LIBERAL POLICIES WORK!!
But, I remind you, it’s PRETEND.
Corbin, as for AIDS or HIV, I’ve got you beat friend. I invented the BLACK PLAGUE!!
Shayna Watson said: “”but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn’t know it would be so outright.””
Shayna, it’s called Affirmative action or set asides! You’re voting FOR it.

  47. anonymousinsider Says:

Funny (or sad, depending on your viewpoint) story from the law school I attended. It was remarkably un-diverse (at the time I was admitted, I was a white feminist/Democrat/progressive Catholic and I’m firmly convinced that “affirmative action” applied to me and my Eastern European sounding name), and they were shooting photos for an admissions booklet.

A friend of mine (white dude) was standing outside the law school with an Asian woman, African American man, and Latino woman, all of whom were friends of his. The photographers were out there and took a photo for the booklet. He told me that countless times, people came up to him and wouldn’t believe that all those people were friends and that the photo must have been staged.

A sad commentary on the world, I suppose.

  48. Holy Cheese Curds Says:

I think of myself as a liberal, but I’ve been pretty amazed how Barack Obama has gotten a pass on everything from the press.

It really has seemed that the press has been openly campaigning for him against Hillary. And I suspect that soon the press will be openly campaigning for him against McCain (if that hack job on McCain in the New York Times is any indication).

I always used to think that the press was more neutral.

I don’t like the idea of the media choosing our leaders, so I find this all pretty upsetting.

And I just don’t know if this is something new, or if I’ve just gotten older / more aware.

  49. n2jersey2 Says:

Obama hasn’t gotten a pass from the press. The Wright campaign was a “all hands” attack, if I must say so myself. Hannity can’t get to sleep at night without searching for another 20 seconds of soundbite from the church. I had to go find Hannity’s “Rev.Wright” in Hal Turner, just to be able to tolerate Fox’s race baiting. Just knowing that Hannity has a racist in his past, and doesn’t denounce or regret their friendship, makes him, the greatest of hypocrites. Wright served in the Marines, and was a medic, which makes him “a greater american” than the draft dodgers that attempt to wrap him around Obama’s neck.

  50. jmk Says:

Love your site. As for anyone above who has the uninformed idea that Obama has any intention of doing anything for the black voters (whom he is manipulating) OR has ever done anything for disadvantaged blacks, you are in a dream – that we don’t want to become an American Nightmare.

For start: Obama’s ties are Muslim (in TOO many directions to be coincidence), not black. He has not even spoken out on the genocide in Kenya, led by his cousin (current minority leader there) who brags (see youtube how Barack keeps in touch with him.

Keep going to Chicago Sun Times archives for details of Obama’s political favors and financial ties to indicted Rezko, whose slumlord dwellings – in Obama’s own district during Obama’s IL Senate term – didn’t even have heat or hot water for their poor black tenants.

So either do your homework, or dream on as so many entranced Obamanites have preferred to do.

  51. Katherine Says:

Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground did bomb the US Capitol, the Pentagon, NYC police station, and a lot of other places. One of their bombs accidentally went off in a NYC (Greenwich Village) apartment and it killed people, Bill Ayers’ then girlfriend died in the blast.

Then Bill Ayers went undercover with Bernadine Dorhn, and years later they resurfaced and the case was BOTCHED and they were set free. Which is AWFUL. They’d still be in prison!! They were domestic terrorists.

Barack Obama has been to Bill Ayers home more than once. Bill Ayers was a fundraiser for Obama. Bill Ayers contributed personal money to his campaign, as well as had fundraiser parties for Obama in his home. AND Bill Ayers and Obama served on the Woods Fund together as paid directors for three years.

Here’s one of a lot of videos…ya gotta WATCH it:

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=rxoiZdBSi-g

  52. n2jersey2 Says:

How many times do you have to hear Obama say that he is a christian before you believe him? Never? Typical!!!

You wanna bring up Resko & Ayers? Guilt by association? Nice try, but take this down…..he doesn’t need your vote!

Keep up the lame lies, for all it does is put his message more into the mix. Always take the underdog, for he know a good fight when he sees it.

Is he guilty of terrorism? No, and neither was Ayers. If Ayers did what you accuse him of, he’d be in jail! Right? Resko’s a slumlord? And?

Was J Edgar Hoover friends with Giancana & Roselli? Was Pop Kennedy’s partner Luciano’s #2, Joe Costello? Grandpa Bush’s business partner was a guy, who led the Nazi revolution, Adolph Hitler. So don’t judge Obama by the names in his phonebook>

  53. n2jersey2 Says:

  54. n2jersey2 Says:

Are we bitter? I know that whenever I go to fillup my car, and the price of gas has changed since I went to work, by .10 cents, then yes I am bitter.

Who’s not bitter? Who loves what they are paying for a gallon of gas, or wishes that it was more?

Obama is not by himself when he says that working folk are bitter. And I don’t think that it will take another person to tell us how we should feel about the state of this country.

I just don’t think that the issue of the war, the economy, and the housing situation can be easily swept away by other politicians, pointing out words that have nothing to do with what matters.

  55. Peter Says:

Actually, Ayers didn’t go to jail because of a legal technicality, not because he wasn’t a terrorist. He is and an unrepentant one at that.

  56. Massboston21 Says:

Look, all you barck obama supporters you need to wake up. obama is as far left as a liberal eleitest as your going to find in the democratic party. The man’s campaign OPENLY admits to having “friendly realations” with an unreapentend terrorist, Bill Ayers. Now before I get into any real issues, insn’t that something that would stir up just a little controvesy if it happened to be a conservative republican who attented a church of a white supremisist and had “friendly” realations with an open terrorist. Just answer that question all you yahoo liberal moonbats.

  57. n2jersey2 Says:

    Dear Mis-Guided Massboston21,
Now you, of all people, need not be calling anyone “elitest”. Your town kept “jim crow” going, even when the rest of the free world was trying to give it up.

Alabama uses Boston’s bus riots as training films for klan and paramilitary rallies. Oh, and for the record, I visited there, and I believe that when a native(black) bostonian leaves those internment camps,(you call them neighborhoods), they never come back!

Just giving you back what you think you giving me, but don’t get it twisted, Obama’s in it to win it, and it don’t have nothing to do with Ayers’ 70′s activities, or Rev. Wright’s preachings.

Freedom of speech is what this country is founded on, and if you want to shut up Rev. Wright, then you need to run for congress, and then try to squash the bill of rights.

But beware, for I know, and you know, that you have used words and phrases, that are alot worse than what the good rev was saying.

Bill Ayers? Come on now, if the feds had anything, they’d have thrown him in jail, a long time ago. Guilt-by-association don’t work nomo.

Now you have a choice to make. Obama, Hillary, or McCain? I beg of you, Vote to stop the war, vote to bring gas prices back to normal, vote for a new plan of attack in America’s war on Reality.

Forget about the pin, or the Rev., or who’s a liberal or conservative, because black or white or whatever you claim….if you poor, then you should be “bitter”, if you can’t afford to drive to work six days a week, then you should be “bitter”.

Black people invented “turn the other cheek”, we forgave Wallace in Alabama, Strom Thurmand in Carolina (you see his black baby girl?), we take what you give us, and make it work, and I’m talking as far back as “ever”.

Do you ever wonder how the drug trade sustains itself in certain ghettos? How it flourishes, no matter how hard the cops try to stop it?

The greatest game ever played…..was not a baseball game, or a football game. But the game of life.

  58. n2jersey2 Says:

I was refering to America’s war on drugs. Do you know what happened the last time America tried this strategy? It was in the 1920′s, and it was called Prohibition.

And you all know that all it did was make alot of poor, uneducated, mal-adjusted criminals rich.

America, traditionally, has turned a blind eye to certain vices, and since it’s inception, drug use in some areas, was tolerated.
The average beat cop, who makes $20,000 a year, can make that in a week, if he jacks up the right kingpin.
The more people know what’s going on, the less the cop gets to keep for himself. It’s a game.

I am not justifying these criminals, but look at the big picture. Rev. Wright spoke of this in his sermon, about how you string’m out, then build bigger jails to house them, then you work them, as in a factory, to build things, for profit.

Black people are not stupid, we know what you want of us. Stay working, but don’t make no noise. Don’t try to come up too fast. Stay where you are, don’t get “uppity”.
Funny how black people know everything about white people, but white people only know what they see on their plasmas.

It ain’t true, what you see is what someone wants you to see, but have to dig alittle deeper to find the truth.

We are all Aericans, and you might as well get used to one of us being president of the United States.

  59. n2Jersey_IsInsane Says:

Hey, N2Jersey2 – FYI A lot of the white people supposedly oppressing those of African descent for the past 200 years actually came here after slavery was abolished. Your arguments are specious moonbat crap and you sound like a typical militant hippie.

Personally, I hope Obama wins – So you can get the unAmerican liberal changes you long for and have to sleep in your own bed.

Not everyone who thinks he’s either a liar or poor judge of character is a groupthink neo-con (although YOU seem to be drinking SOMEONE’S cool-aide, hmmm?) I’m a free thinker, and come election time I have my choice of bad, worse, and worst. Yay.

Divisive group-based politics is ultimately destructive. And I think that all we have to do to affirm that it is in fact so is take a good look around today.

Perhaps some day you’ll grow up a little, look around, and see the damage the failed ideas you now embrace have wrought.

The reason we got rid of the king in the first place was that there is no more efficient oppressor of the people than Government. And politics that consolidate power empower such abuses. Which has been going on for decades, and which the faction you embrace champions.

    IsInsane,
My my my, it took you this long to read all of the above posts to get to me, and I congradulate you.
But I don’t really care what you think motivates me. I love this country, served in the military, and I’ve been fortunate to travel halfway around the world. So I speak from experience, when I say that America still has alot of growing up to do, itself.

The world awaits the upcoming election results, to see if America has grown past it’s “Jim Crow” past……not it’s slave past.

Slavery has nothing to do with the uproar of Rev. Wright, Min. Farrakhan, or anything FOX chooses to throw around Obama’s neck.

Yes, you and your father’s father all came here after slavery was “abolished”. But what happened in those 144 years since since it “went away” would get this nation put on the Human Rights Violators’ list.

Like I said, you have to know all of this nations’ history before you step to me with what you think you know.

This election is bigger than anything you, or I, could ever comprehend, for it says alot about what’s really in our hearts, and what’s under our skins.

Black people will vote for Obama because he represents all that can be considered positive growth in a country, which has had this undeniable history, of holding a people down, just because they look different.

So let me ask you a question, can you tell me why America did what it did, to the people who were bought here to work, as free labor? I just had to ask!!!

  61. TosaDan Says:

n2jersey how many years where you enslaved?

  62. n2jersey2 Says:

Eight years…..eight years in the Navy!

  63. Roland Melnick Says:

This n2jersey2 reminds me of the trolls that infested this blog at the height of the Alderman Mike McGee soap opera.

Feed it if you must, but trying to honestly debate it is a waste of time.

When it says things like: “Funny how black people know everything about white people, but white people only know what they see on their plasmas”, you know you are dealing with someone who gets all their material from “The Final Call” and similar sources.

  64. TosaDan Says:

Now n2jersey we all know you were paid for your services and unless you were drafted in the Vietnam era then you willingly volunteered.

So here we have a person like your self expounding on the horrors that this country put black folks through in the form of slavery, Jim Crow south and the like and you trivialize it all by comparing your service to your country as slavery.

For some reason I doubt you suffered the same tragedies and it all really serves to expose your dishonest and tired rhetoric.

BTW Thank you for your service.

Also lets say that Obama does get elected how do you know America didn’t elect his white-half? Who we elect for president has no bearing on how far this country has come in regards to race relations. Electing a black man for president just because hes a black man would serve nothing but to expose how bitter this country still is at its past.

Obama black, white, green or purple is not the best choice for President not because of the color of his skin but for the lack of content in his character. If I may make a play on the good Reverends famous line.

  65. n2jersey2 Says:

    Mr. Roland,
Your TV works, so you know everything about black folk…..typical!

  66. n2jersey2 Says:

    Fellas,
I now realize that this blog is a sort of Mid-West blog, but for the sake of defending Obama’s right to know people with troublesome pasts, I would not be in here.

I don’t care nothing about Chicago politics, but Obama belongs to the world now, and this is why I come here, to question those who question Obama’s motives for having to deal with people like Wright & Ayers.

Check my previous posts, cause that’s the only question I choose to deal with.

I’ve never done hard time, but the closest I’ve come to it was my time in the Navy. And if you’ve never been in a place where you’re told ‘who-when-where to be’, then you wouldn’t know.

All I’ve been saying, from the first day I came in here is, give the guy a chance.

Kennedy was killed before he could make a difference, Malcolm X, Martin, Medger, all of these great men were taken away from us before they could make a difference.

I pray that you guys will give this one his chance.

In case you check back n2jersey2

In the case of Rev. Wright he wasn’t forced it was his pastor. His spirtual advisor. I could give him a break because I do like Barack message.
However we don’t have alot to judge. His books, his speeches and his friends.
Now you have a second associate who seems more fringe than Rev. Wright.
William Ayers is so much more personal to me. He still saying the same message from the 60′s. He was part of a domestic terrorist group that wanted to kill people. He still believes in hating america.
I agree Martin was a great man. Malcoim X and Medger had great points too. I do not see that in Obama.

  71. n2jersey2 Says:

    Good morning GraceLynn,
By now you’ve seen the results coming in from Indiana. Barack may have broken Hillary’s back with that one, if the count keeps going in his favor.

But as far as the Reverend is concerned, I found this site called:www.NaturalNews.com-Human medical experimentation in the United States:The shocking true history of modern medicine and psychiatry(1833-1965).

My dear, I am not lying to you! This has got to be the most incredible document I have ever seen. Amazing, with references and all, it is truly amazing that such experiments were undertaken, all in the name of “warfare research”.

http://www.NaturalNews.com, go there, and just hit the spot on the right side of the page, and I will await your response.

I don’t expect anyone to read it all, just look at it, and give me your opinion later. Congratz to Barack Obama, for doing what many said could not be done!

  72. n2jersey2 Says:

Look to the right of the page. It will be under Rev. Wright’s name. Please go to http://www.NaturalNews.com, and look under the title Rev. Wright.

You will not feel the same after reading just a little of the info in this article. Don’t let a lack of interest stop education from educating.

Much respect to all that look in.

    Germ War: The US Record
“As far as chemical and biological weapons are concerned, Saddam Hussein is a repeat offender. He has used them against his neighbors and on his own people.” Madeleine Albright, US Secretary of State

By Madeleine Albright’s criteria Saddam has a ways to go to catch up with the United States, which has deployed its CBW arsenal against the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Vietnam, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba, Haitian boat people and Canada, plus exposure of hundreds of thousands of unwitting US citizens to an astonishing array of germ agents and toxic chemicals, killing dozens of people.

The US experimentation with bio-weapons goes back to the distribution of cholera-infect blankets to American Indian tribes in the 1860s. In1900, US Army doctors in the Philippines infected five prisoners with a variety of plague and 29 prisoners with Beriberi. At least four of the subjects died. In 1915, a doctor working with government grants exposed 12 prisoners in Mississippi to pellagra, an incapacitating disease that attacks the central nervous system.

After World War I, the United States went on a chemical weapons binge, producing millions of barrels of mustard gas and Lewisite. Thousands of US troops were exposed to these chemical agents in order to “test the efficacy of gas masks and protective clothing”. The Veterans Administration refused to honor disability claims from victims of such experiments. The Army also deployed mustard gas against anti-US protesters in Puerto Rico and the Philippines in the 1920s and 1930s.

In 1931, Dr. Cornelius Rhoads, then under contract with the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Investigations, initiated his horrific Puerto Rico Cancer Experiments, infecting dozens of unwitting subjects with cancer cells. At least thirteen of his victims died as a result. Rhoads went on to head of the US Army Biological Weapons division and to serve on the Atomic Energy Commission, where he oversaw radiation experiments on thousands of US citizens. In memos to the Department of Defense, Rhoads expressed his opinion that Puerto Rican dissidents could be “eradicated” with the judicious use of germ bombs.

In 1942, US Army and Navy doctors infected 400 prisoners in Chicago with malaria in experiments designed to get “a profile of the disease and develop a treatment for it.” Most of the inmates were black and none was informed of the risks of the experiment. Nazi doctors on trial at Nuremberg cited the Chicago malaria experiments as part of their defense.

At the close of World War II, the US Army put on its payroll, Dr. Shiro Ishii, the head of the Imperial Army of Japan’s bio-warfare unit. Dr. Ishii had deployed a wide range of biological and chemical agents against Chinese and Allied troops. He also operated a large research center in Manchuria, where he conducted bio-weapons experiments on Chinese, Russian and American prisoners of war. Ishii infected prisoners with tetanus; gave them typhoid-laced tomatoes; developed plague-infected fleas; infected women with syphilis; performed dissections on live prisoners; and exploded germ bombs over dozens of men tied to stakes. In a deal hatched by Gen. Douglas MacArthur, Ishii turned over more than 10,000 pages of his “research findings” to the US Army, avoided prosecution for war crimes and was invited to lecture at Ft. Detrick, the US Army bio-weapons center in Frederick, Maryland.

In 1950 the US Navy sprayed large quantities of serratia marcescens, a bacteriological agent, over San Francisco, promoting an outbreak of pneumonia-like illnesses and causing the death of at least one man, Ed Nevins.

A year later, Chinese Premier Chou En-lai charged that the US military and the CIA had used bio-agents against North Korea and China. Chou produced statements from 25 US prisoners of war backing him his claims that the US had dropped anthrax contaminated feathers, mosquitoes and fleas carrying Yellow Fever and propaganda leaflets spiked with cholera over Manchuria and North Korea.

From 1950 through 1953, the US Army released chemical clouds over six US and Canadian cities. The tests were designed to test dispersal patterns of chemical weapons. Army records noted that the compounds used over Winnipeg, Canada, where there were numerous reports of respiratory illnesses, involved cadmium, a highly toxic chemical.

In 1951 the US Army secretly contaminated the Norfolk Naval Supply Center in Virginia with infectious bacteria. One type was chosen because blacks were believed to be more susceptible than whites. A similar experiment was undertaken later that year at Washington, DC’s National Airport. The bacteria was later linked to food and blood poisoning and respiratory problems.

Savannah, Georgia and Avon Park, Florida were the targets of repeated Army bio-weapons experiments in 1956 and 1957. Army CBW researchers released millions of mosquitoes on the two towns in order to test the ability of insects to carry and deliver yellow fever and dengue fever. Hundreds of residents fell ill, suffering from fevers, respiratory distress, stillbirths, encephalitis and typhoid. Army researchers disguised themselves as public health workers in order photograph and test the victims. Several deaths were reported.

In 1965 the US Army and the Dow Chemical Company injected dioxin into 70 prisoners (most of them black) at the Holmesburg State Prison in Pennsylvania. The prisoners developed severe lesions which went untreated for seven months. A year later, the US Army set about the most ambitious chemical warfare operation in history.

From 1966 to 1972, the United States dumped more than 12 million gallons of Agent Orange (a dioxin-powered herbicide) over about 4.5 million acres of South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The government of Vietnam estimate the civilian casualties from Agent Orange at more than 500,000. The legacy continues with high levels of birth defects in areas that were saturated with the chemical. Tens of thousands of US soldiers were also the victims of Agent Orange.

In a still classified experiment, the US Army sprayed an unknown bacterial agent in the New York Subway system in 1966. It is not known if the test caused any illnesses.

A year later, the CIA placed a chemical substance in the drinking water supply of the Food and Drug Administration headquarters in Washington, DC. The test was designed to see if it was possible to poison drinking water with LSD or other incapacitating agents.

In 1969, Dr. D.M. McArtor, the deputy director for Research and Technology for the Department of Defense, asked Congress to appropriate $10 million for the development of a synthetic biological agent that would be resistant “to the immunological and therapeutic processes upon which we depend to maintain our relative freedom from infectious disease”.

In 1971 the first documented cases of swine fever in the western hemisphere showed up in Cuba. A CIA agent later admitted that he had been instructed to deliver the virus to Cuban exiles in Panama, who carried the virus into Cuba in March of 1991. This astounding admission received scant attention in the US press.

In 1980, hundreds of Haitian men, who had been locked up in detention camps in Miami and Puerto Rico, developed gynecomasia after receiving “hormone” shots from US doctors. Gynecomasia is a condition causing males to develop full-sized female breasts.

In 1981, Fidel Castro blamed an outbreak of dengue fever in Cuba on the CIA. The fever killed 188 people, including 88 children. In 1988, a Cuban exile leader named Eduardo Arocena admitted “bringing some germs” into Cuba in 1980.

Four years later an epidemic of dengue fever struck Managua, Nicaragua. Nearly 50,000 people came down with the fever and dozens died. This was the first outbreak of the disease in Nicaragua. It occurred at the height of the CIA’s war against the Sandinista government and followed a series of low-level “reconnaissance” flights over the capital city.

In 1996, the Cuba government again accused the US of engaging in “biological aggression”. This time it involved an outbreak of thrips palmi, an insect that kills potato crops, palm trees and other vegetation. Thrips first showed up in Cuba on December 12, 1996, following low-level flights over the island by US government spray planes. The US has been unable to quash a United Nations investigation of the incident that is now underway.

At the close of the Gulf War, the US Army exploded an Iraqi chemical weapons depot at Kamashiya. In 1996, the Department of Defense finally admitted that more than 20,000 US troops were exposed to VX and sarin nerve agents as a result of the US operation at Kamashiya. This may be one cause of Gulf War Illness, another cause is certainly the experimental vaccines unwittingly given to more than 100,000 US troops. CP

http://www.ahrp.org/history/chronology.php, Please read this article. It is for all of the doubters, who say that Rev. Wright spoke out of turn, when he was speaking to his congregation.

I, being from Newark, New Jersey, am thankful for FOX News bringing these facts to light. Otherwise, we would not be having this conversation.

I doubt seriously if Obama will use these facts to discredit those who will attack him with Rev. Wright’s candor, but let’s be clear here, it is a dangerous game the FOX people are playing.

By using race as a “nightstick” against Obama’s run for the White House, it stands to uncover ALL (that has been, that is still, and that’s yet to be) “Crimes Against Humanity” that America may, or may not, be guilty of, but I’m sure that those who know better……don’t want to have this going public now!

Believe it or not, Reverend Jeremiah Wright was telling the TRUTH.
