Sheboygan County Circuit Judge Timothy Van Akkeren has finally gotten around to sentencing Mitchell D. Pask to jail for trying to entice a little girl in a park. You will remember this case, seconds after the jury came back with a guilty verdict, this moron judge took the very rare step of throwing out the jury verdict, saying that he didn’t think that a picnic area was secluded enough. Once the judge realized that his ruling would be overturned by the Appeals Court, the judge reversed himself again, and today, finally sentenced the registered sex offender to eight years in prison and four years of the joke extended supervision.
At the time of Van Akkeren’s overruling of the jury verdict, I was motivated enough to make the trip to Sheboygan to see this park for my self. I wanted to see if the judges account of there being no secluded areas was right, or if the jury, who had been to the site and determined that it was secluded and found the perv guilty in only 30 minutes. You can see my coverage below, i found plenty of secluded areas where a sexual predator could molest a 9 year old child.

Patrick, you did such an outstanding job on this video! THANK YOU! Great idea to bring it back to the forefront. There’s nothing like “seeing it like it is” and this certainly accomplishes that.
I guess we’re now supposed to think this inept judge righted his wrong…NOT! But at least this perv is off the streets for a while now.
