Police: woman shot daughter in leg to win $1 bet
A Sheboygan woman allegedly shot her 8-year-old daughter in the leg with a BB gun to win a $1 bet with her boyfriend, authorities said Friday.The woman, Angelique R. Vandeburg, 28, now faces up to three years in prison on a felony count of intentional child abuse issued Friday. The alleged incident occurred April 26 or 27.
What is it with Sheboygan?

I think Eric Litke has the greatest job of any reporter in the State of Wisconsin.
Imagine driving home at the end of the day, having just written a story about a mother bashing a man who just exposed himself to your child in the head with a shovel, knowing that there’s a very strong likelihood that tomorrow will bring a story even more twisted for you to write about.
And, rumor has it, they actually pay him for this.
I see a new tourist motto in the making:
“Sheboygan — We really take the pressure off of Jackson County.”
