She’s right about liberals wanting the government to take control and run things. She just didn’t mention that those things include all decisions that are currently in the hands of us lowly peasants, especially about things like what you eat, where you live, how you get around, what you can have (not own), and how much allowance the government will give you.

Two things stand out about this, she truly is a believer that the federal governments knows what is best for this country. Her colleagues realize what an asinine concept she just accidentally spewed forth. You can see them stifling laughs.
OK, maybe three. She stopped herself from saying socialized. Why? Is it because even she knows that wise people wouldn’t support the idea of the government taking over private companies so she (and some liberals) must mask her true goals form the public.

Well, as of the time that I posted this, I tried to watch the video but all I got was this message:
“We’re sorry, this video is no longer available.”
Anyone know why it got pulled?

OK…I just now watched it, so maybe there was a glitch in the youtube server.
Hey, they want to nationalize healthcare, so is it such a stretch that they would want to nationalize petroleum production?
“Do what we say, or we’ll take your company away from you.” This broad would be a laugh riot if she didn’t hold such power.
It amazes me that so many people bought into Russ Feingold’s hysteria over The Patriot Act. People wailing the loss of our freedoms over the prospect that the government could see what books people are checking out of the library. Such worry pales…PALES!!…in comparison to the prospect of government forcefully taking over lawful private companies.
Would have been fitting if the exec in that video would have said: “While I find you as funny and ridiculous as your colleagues, the person sitting to my right is a professor of Economics, he’ll bring you up to speed on the realities of supply and demand. Once you actually know what you’re talking about, I’ll come back and answer your questions, if you have any.”
