I’m really tired of people booing during an inning. What a bunch of morons. Especially when Torres induces a double play on the next pitch.
We (and I mean “we” — it’s all of Wisconsin’s sports fans, not just the Brewers players themselves) are playing with house money here — let’s enjoy it and not expect miracles!

It wouldn’t be a Brewer win without some drama.

As for the Badgers… ~sigh~ They gave up a late TD then threw an interception… Ohio St. wins, 20-17

Good for the Brew Crew! It’s not looking so good for my Cubbies right about now, but I’m still holding out hope. Almost nothing would be more exciting than an I-94 NLCS, and if the Cubs don’t make it I will support the Brewers for as long as they’re still in.

prosqtor, like you, I just don’t get the whole “booing the home team while they’re winning a playoff game” deal.
The Milwaukee Brewers, in spite of their recent lack of offense, have been able to accomplish the one thing the Cubs could not — winning a post-season game. I hereby declare this season a success.
And I turned down tickets to today’s game, hoping instead to get my lawn mowed. I am an idiot.

Are you kidding me?

No, I’m not. And to add insult to injury, it’s raining.

Suppan just gave up back to back home runs and Yet Sveum lets him in the game!
Looks like the Brewers will be staying in Milwaukee after this game!

Sabathia pinch-hitting for Suppan.
THAT’S interesting…

Get Robin Yount into the game to show the kids how it’s done. It appears the ‘Milwaukee Millionaire’ baseball kids are just plain tired. Fielder is 0 for 11 this series and NO homers hit by the BrewCrew in this series. Damn!!! New hitting coach for ’09 I would think.

“hoping instead to get my lawn mowed”
That’s why kids were invented or at least neighborhood kids.

Dan, I have an acre of lawn to mow, dotted with 30-40 trees. I can’t find a kid in the neighborhood dumb enough to give up 3 hours of his Saturday afternoon mindlessly driving a tractor around in circles.
