Special Aluminum Foil Edition

Friday, June 30th, 2006

We are breaking out the aluminum foil in honor of the howling moonbat that Jessica McBride has been working on for the past several days. This clown was actually exposed to the Blogosphere by Dad29, but Jessica got this man on the radio to discuss his ravings about the 9/11 attacks being a CIA operation.

Kevin Barrett, the moonbat in question, claims that he has proof that the 9/11 hijackers are alive and the World Trade Center was blown up by Dick Cheney and that the President should be shot for treason.

This fool was hired by us taxpayers to teach students at UW Madison a class in “Introduction to Islam”. This is your tax dollars at work folks. Jessica has several posts as well as a bunch of audio from this “professor” when he was on her radio show, so do your self a favor and spend a little time over there and read what this nutlog really believes. It is almost scary that people like this are teaching in our university system.

Our Governor isn’t talking about this, but his representative on the Board of Regents believes that Barrett should be free to “teach” these goofy views, he says “Unless he’s yelling fire in a crowded theater, we need to be careful to protect his academic freedom.”

We are fourtinate to have Mark Green join in with a little common sense. Mark Green issued this statement today.

“Not a dime of either taxpayer or tuition dollars should be going to Kevin Barrett so he can tell students that September 11 was a creation of the government, and that Al Qaeda - the most murdering terrorist organization in the world - is a ‘whole-owned and controlled CIA asset.’

“Two nights ago on the radio - and in writings before that - Kevin Barrett said that the World Trade Center buildings were brought down by ‘controlled demolitions with explosives’ set off by the U.S. government. Worse, he said he had ‘no reason to believe’ Osama bin Laden - the terrorist mastermind behind the worst attack on American soil who openly advocates killing
innocent Americans - is evil.

“And just when you thought Jim Doyle’s UW Board of Regents couldn’t get any more out-of-step with Wisconsin values, their president says in today’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Barrett should be able to share his views in the classroom.

“Kevin Barrett is free to say whatever he wants, but not in a Wisconsin lecture hall while being paid by the taxpayers of Wisconsin. President Walsh should drop his support for Mr. Barrett and his outrageous statements, and I hope the University leaders will strongly disagree with Mr. Barrett’s outrageous comments and dismiss him from his position.”

What is next for the UW System? Instructors that say the Holocaust never happened. or maybe one that thinks the world is flat and the moon is made of blue cheese?

Draft Jeff Wagner for D.A.!

Friday, June 30th, 2006

Charlie Sykes was stirring the Draft Jeff Wagner pot again today. So everyone that is out at State Fair Summer Fest while Jeff is doing his radio show needs to stop and make it clear that it is Jeff’s civic duty to run for the District Attorney of Milwaukee!

Personally, I have been writing in Jeff’s name over the past several D.A. elections, since E. Michael McCann(t) never had opponents. With his background as a U.S. Attorney and his strong anti-crime stance, Jeff would be an outstanding choice.

So Jeff… Don’t make us come and get you! If you won’t come voluntarily, we will drag you to the D.A.’s office!

Alderman A.K.A changes his mind

Friday, June 30th, 2006

Alderman Michael Jackson (a.k.a. McGee) Jr. looks to be ready to drop his name change petition, so he will keep his legal name of Michael Jackson, even though he has identification and has even been elected to public office as Michael McGee.

JS Online: DayWatch
Court records indicate Milwaukee Ald. Michael McGee plans to drop his request to change his given name, Michael Imanu Jackson, to the name he has been known by his entire life: McGee.

McGee filed the name-change petition in late May, then initially denied he had, then acknowledged the request with a public statement that said he needed the change to get a U.S. passport.

There are still no answers to the questions of McGee’s use of multiple social security numbers and drivers licenses, or the court judgments against Michael Jackson. These seem to be crimes to people like me, where is the investigation?

In a search of public records and commercial databases, the Journal Sentinel found several records of a Michael I. Jackson who shares the same birth date and some common addresses with the alderman, but shows a different Social Security number. Last month, McGee told the newspaper: “I don’t have a record of consistently using that name.”

McGee could not immediately be reached this morning for comment.

WTMJ Radio says they called McJackson’s office and the call was “disconnected”. Seems to me that hanging up on a reporter is like begging them to dig deeper….

Part 2: Scott Walker to “spin off” Milwaukee County Parks System

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

This is a follow up on my previous post, Scott Walker to “spin off” Milwaukee County Parks System.

The more I hear, the more I like it. Scott Walker joined Charlie Sykes this morning to discuss his plan to separate the Parks System from the rest of the county. The plan would have the parks run by an unpaid, elected board of seven. I really like this, the board is a manageable size, they are volunteers so they will not benefit personally and best of all, they are elected, so they will be accountable to the taxpayers.

Listen to Charlie and Scott discuss the issue as you read the Walker Press Release.

At the end, they talk about the event at the Zoo this weekend, I hope to see lots of people there!

Scott Walker to “spin off” Milwaukee County Parks System (Update contains details)

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

Update below:
Original post 6/28/06

Mark Belling broke this (as far as I know) at the top of the 4 P.M. hour of his show, you will be able to download the audio from his site later this evening.

The report is that tomorrow, Scott Walker will move to “spin off” the Milwaukee Parks System, making it an independent operation with an elected board, much like the Sewage District Board. We will need to wait until tomorrow to learn the details, but it sounds like an interesting idea. It would allow the County to get out from under the oppressive wages and benefits, including the huge hit we take thanks to the Ament Pension Scandal.

I wish I had more information, but I guess we will have to wait until Scott Walker lays out the details.

UPDATE: Paper has the story now: 6/29/06

JS Online:Push for park district renewed
Citing the possibility of pool closings and a continued decline in parks funding, Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker is renewing his call for an independent park district partly modeled after similar governing bodies in Chicago and Minneapolis.

Go read the whole thing, it sounds like it is really worth looking into. Walker will provide more details later today.

The County Board is opposed, that’s a sure sign that this is a good plan. ;-)

Gaza militants say fired chemical-tipped warhead

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

If this is true and the Palestinians are using chemical weapons, it is time to eliminate the threat once and for all.

Gaza militants say fired chemical-tipped warhead | Reuters.com
A spokesman for gunmen in the Gaza Strip said they had fired a rocket tipped with a chemical warhead at Israel early on Thursday.

The Israeli army had no immediate comment on the claim by the spokesman from the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed wing of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah movement.

The group had recently claimed to possess about 20 biological warheads for the makeshift rockets commonly fired from Gaza at Israeli towns. This was the first time the group had claimed firing such a rocket.

Two time pervert given 3 months easy time

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

Former Shorewood High School teacher, Royce E. Huffman was sentenced on his second sexual offence involving a child in the past year. Last year he was convicted in an incident, while he was still a teacher, where a female student had a John Kerry sticker on her back pocket. Huffman patted the sticker and said “I guess I know who you’re voting for.” In this first instance, he was only fined $1,000 and agreed to give up his teaching license for at least two years.

Today, he was convicted of five counts of possession of child pornography. He faced up to 18 years in prison, but his sentence… Three months in the House of Correction and three years of probation.

If a man convicted twice of sex related crimes against children, can’t get any real jail time, who can? Why do we have to wait until some pervert like this gets to the point of physical harm, as well as the emotional harm he is a part of already?

This case shows the steady progression of a pervert, and if he is not stopped, he will do it again, this time he couldn’t wait a year before reoffending, what will his next step be? If I was a parent that lived around 86 & Burleigh, or had a child that went to the middle school about a block from his house, I would be thinking about this pervert, we know what he will be thinking about…

Milwaukee District Attorney race

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

Well, it looks like we may actually have an option in the D.A.’s race. It was looking like E. Michael McCann(t)’s hand picked man, John Chisholm was going to walk in unopposed. But today we learn of two others that are planning to enter the race.

Civil rights attorney and former Milwaukee Alderman Larraine McNamara-McGraw is planning to run as a Democrat against Chisholm in the primary.

Citing the recent acquittal of Milwaukee police officers in the beating of Frank Jude Jr., McNamara-McGraw said she would run on “the promise there would never be another Jude verdict.”

She said she would upgrade the technology in the office, seek improved salaries for the “underpaid, overworked professionals” on the staff and “work to acquit the DA’s office of the stain of the acquittals.”

Defense lawyer Lew Wasserman is also planning a run as an Independent.

Wasserman has quietly started circulating an e-mail with ideas such as amnesty for some traffic offenses, such as driving after a license has been revoked; no prosecution for minor drug possession, instead shifting assistants to homicide cases; and stationing assistant district attorneys “with a cop or two, at the entrance of every gun store” to check whether ammunition is being bought “for a prohibited person, or whether (buyers) themselves are prohibited.”

So we see out “choices”, McCann(t)’s hand picked man, a civil rights attorney or a genuine moonbat that doesn’t want to prosecute drug crimes, ignore traffic offenses and harass business owners. What a choice…

U.S. Senate okay’s flag desecration

Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

Happy Independence Day America…

FOXNews.com - Flag Desecration Amendment Fails in Senate by One Vote
A constitutional amendment to ban flag desecration died in a cliffhanger vote in the Senate Tuesday, one week before Independence Day, one vote short of the support needed to send it to the states for ratification.

The 66-34 vote in favor of the amendment was a single vote short of the two-thirds required. The House surpassed that threshold last year, 286-130.

The proposed amendment, sponsored by Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, read: “The Congress shall have power to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States.”

Feel free to burn, defecate upon or in any other manor, disrespect the symbol of Freedom. The sacred cover over the casket of an American Service member. The symbol of an idea created and defended by our forefathers, and that is still being defended today. That grand banner that represents millions of us, working together to make this world a better place… So feel free to “exercise your right to free speech”, but don’t be surprised when one of us rises up and exercises our selves up-side of your head!
