I am sure you have been following this, but a few months ago, the only doctor in the Madison area that would perform second trimester abortions, retired. Then last week: “The University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics Authority Board voted 11-3 Wednesday in favor of a plan to offer second-trimester abortions at a UW-owned surgery center.” The rational behind this decision was expressed by the chairman of the UW System Board of Regents and member of the UW Hospital board, David Walsh “Since the service isn’t available, you [The University of Wisconsin] have to step up.” This, my friends, is how Wisconsin taxpayers came to subsidize, not just abortions, but late term abortions.
On Friday, I got an email from Glenn, he suggested that I track down the audio of an interview that WISN radio’s Vicki McKenna did with a former abortionist, Dr. Anthony Levatino. Levatino use to preform this barbaric procedure, and he describes how these second term abortions are done. He also goes on to talk about how ridiculous is the argument of this procedure being used to protect the life and health of the mother. A late term abortion is a three day procedure, and if the life of the mother were truly at stake, this abortion procedure would never be used.
I suggest that you take the time to listen to this interview, but don’t listen with children in the room, it gets pretty gruesome, but it is something that people need to know.

God in heaven help us, that is barbaric and inhuman.
How anyone can condone this, or any doctor perform this - well, let’s just call it what it is - murder, is beyond my ability to comprehend.
My niece just miscarried. She was given a little bracelet to, as they told her, “remember her little angel”.
Yet our UW educational system condones this, teaches this, uses our tax dollars for murder, thereby teaching this is okay?
Again…God in heaven help us.

It should tell you something about how extreme it is by the fact that there was only one doctor in the liberal bastion of Madison, that would do late term abortions… And now we are having it done in facilities that we pay for.

I heard this interview when it was broadcast. I was amazed at how “Urgent” it was for this service to be done despite 7 out of 100 healthcare workers were willing to participate in the proceedure.
I think the time has come to take back the UW system and remind the eggheads that are entrenched there, exactly who foots the bill for their livelyhood!

One of the things I always find absolutely amazing about this subject is that the very people who fall all over themselves defending thugs and other urban terrorists, and crusading against the law enforcement officers trying to make life better for the decent people, are the same ones who seem to have virtually no concern for the most innocent and defenseless among us.

They are defending this because they have no morals.
Besides, James Madison clearly wanted abortion to be a right. That’s why he said so in the Constitution.

It is my understanding Wisconsin Statute 20.927 clearly prohibits the use of the Madison Surgery Center for an abortion facility.
