I implored like-minded, reasonable conservatives to commit ourselves to rediscovering our voice in a rant last month, admittedly fearing that, the voters having handed the keys to our country to a bevy of agenda-driven activists - power-drunk with their party’s new found, unchecked power - it might already be too late.

Clearly, given the Democrats’ recent spirit of “bipartisanship,” this is going to be an uphill battle.

Until we, the handful of true fiscal conservatives left, are able once again to earn our place at the table of what used to be a “checks and balances” system, our lot will remain relegated to “oppressed victim” status.

Borrowing a page from the playbook of the liberal - always the champion of the voiceless victim - I think it’s high time we, as true conservatives, employ a tool which our side has traditionally been reluctant to embrace:

The bumper sticker.

Ah, the bumper sticker. Like a T-shirt for your car, it educates fellow motorists to the urgency of your cause du jour; a mobile sandwich board, conveniently piggybacked to your Subaru Outback, Toyota Corolla, or, not to be forgotten, the increasingly rare VW Vanagon.

Ever at the ready to help, your friends at BadgerBlogger have worked up a few prototypes to get the ball rolling. Watch for more in the coming weeks. Display in good health.

    WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER.

I’m immensely cheered by the idiots who haven’t taken their “IMPEACH” sticker off yet.

Considering the placement of bumper stickers, I’d say that rather than describing them as t-shirts they should instead be called “tramp stamps.”
