Dan Bice has all the details… Building code violations pile up again at Holloway’s apartments.
Maybe Lee Holloway is waiting for Barack Obama to fix the “more than 150 open building code violations at nine Milwaukee properties.”

Barry just shows up to hang the curtains after the real work is done.

It’s telling that the girl who lives in the $495/mo dump won’t talk to the JS because she fears being “punished” - as if living in that hell hole isn’t punishment enough.
Sorry, but as a renter it seems there is little REAL recourse for us in fighting against selfish, corrupt property owners. I’d love to see the city tell the tenets of Holloway’s properties they can stop paying rent until the violations are fixed…that might get the ball rolling.

The only way this is ever going to get corrected is if another prominent black politician has the balls to actually represent his constituents and get in Holloway’s face on their behalf.

Racists!

It would be interesting to know how many people living in Holloway’s slums vote for him…

Eugene? Eugene? We need to know why this is OK.

Nice, the projects and Holloway’s apartments used to be nice places to live. His protectionism has finally come to roost. You can not provide for people that do not care. They will wreck everything out of entitlement and envy.
You have to some how teach people to care and make them responsible for their choices.

Does this really surprise anyone?

John Smith - That’s why I support Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity.

What if it was Scott Walker instead of Lee Holloway?

I know there will be less money, now that the government is taking more of our and our children’s resources by force (stimulus). But, please support Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity. Please support responsible people helping and caring for responsible people.
Responsible people don’t envy and vote to take their neighbors money as giving. They give out of their pockets because they actually care.

This isn’t shocking, considering Holloway and his wife have come under fire before. This is absolutely shameful considering Holloway’s standing as a public official/
April 6th, 2009 at 5:07 pm
No Zach, what’s shameful is the fact that no one in the Milwaukee area has the balls to call him out on this!

What are we bloggers, chopped liver?
But seriously…you’ve got jerks like this guy in County government and the liberal squawk brigade focuses on Scott Walker? Patently obvious to anyone paying attention that their personal/special/political interests are more important than simply holding elected officials accountable.
The only property Holloway owned that didn’t violate any building codes was the one he didn’t really own.

“What are we bloggers, chopped liver?”
Roland, of course not! But I have yet to see ANYONE in the local media, community or public office make a peep when clowns like this run amuck. Unless of course they’re not the member of a “protected” class.

I blame Scott Walker!

We support Habitat for Humanity with the new stimulus plan.

Great, then we can give even more, no wait.
So, in a socialism we can not individually choose who to give our money to. The money is forced from us, ran through the administration (takes lion share), and then given to Habitat for Humanity. So they will be getting very little, our pockets will be emptied, but at least the administration will be happy.
I say no more money for Habitat for Humanity and any other cause that irresponsibly forces money out of our pockets.
P.S. Second Harvest workers simply misplace money donations, somewhat like the 4.7 billion the IRS lost.
