A story that radio host Mark Belling has been talking about off and on for quite some time, has come to a head. Thomas Products has been trying to negotiate with an unyielding union in their Sheboygan plant, but they have finally decided that it wasn’t worth it and have announced that they will be closing their Sheboygan plant. All 366 union sheeple, are now out of jobs… However, the paper never mentioned this angle to the story.
The paper did however show how a state that is business friendly draws new manufacturing to their state.
Gardner Denver said the state of Louisiana will reimburse the company for most of the cost of moving equipment and staff to Louisiana, will provide annual payroll and sales tax rebates and will help the company with recruiting and training. The city of Monroe also will help with the construction of a 124,000-square-foot factory adjoining the company’s existing plant.
Jim Doyle would just look for another way to tax them.

I first heard this on Behling’s show, a day or so later my local guy WTAQ Jerry Bader picked it up big time. Jerry used to live in Sheboygan and his local show is broadcast there. He had several of these union “sheeple” call his show all singing the same song, praise the union and slam management. This is very bad for the community, no only the union jobs, but management & administrative jobs too, plus the ripple down to suppliers/vendors. When I heard the competition was Louisiana and Gov. Bobby J. I knew it was over for these folks. Union has head in the sand and Wisconsin has its head up the *aa.
Can we start to say “the last person to leave Wisconsin please turn out the lights”!!

“Can we start to say “the last person to leave Wisconsin please turn out the lightsâ€!!”
Only if they are a trained member of the IBEW Damn it.

And again, it shows the difference between a GOP state and a Democrat state. This is why Wisconsin is losing jobs and Louisana is gaining jobs. Only the liberals don’t have the mental capacity to understand that.

Dan, Democrats will blame those of us who provide the taxes that they spend. They have constituencies that are “takers” not “givers”.
It’s all about staying in power. Until the public throws Doyle out on his ass, why should he change his tactics.

Seen here, Wisconsin Governor “Diamond Jim” Doyle unveils the design for his 2010 campaign literature…
The governor’s new jobs program, designed with input from the Obama Administration, will be modeled after the hit TV show, The Apprentice, wherein Doyle plans to put 15 people out of work in order to save a single job. A Doyle campaign source said, “The governor just loves that show with Donald Trump…so much so, in fact, he makes all of us staffers call him ‘The Doyle’ around the office.”

Roland, once upon a time, even corrupt phony politicians TRIED to do what they knew was right.
What I mean is that, in past, even bad politicians did not EMBRACE policies that their intellect and morals, CLEARLY KNEW, were destined to fail or cause MORE HARM and DAMAGE.
Richard Nixon was paranoid, self serving and arrogant, but even NIXON never espoused policies that he was AWARE would not be successful.
Things have changed completely.
Doyle will do anything to keep the FAILURE alive, because Wisconsin’s failures have kept him in power. The VICTIMS of Wisconsin’s failures….from MPS and Black dysfunction, to Janesvilles GM plant closing to Sheboygan’s Gardener-Denver fux up, to Corn gas, to Illegals getting in state tuition at our University system, to WEAC money to Trial Lawyer campaign cash to the Godfather of Doyle’s coffers…..Indian gaming to Tobacco money spending on the General fund (yes Libs I know McCallum did so too), to raiding the Transportation fund, to raiding the Patients Compensation fund, to raising FEEEEEEEE’S up the WAZOOO and not calling them taxes. To raising the Drivers License cost, the Hunting permit, the fishing permit, the Vehicle Registration fee, to calling BIG OIL evil for making 8-9% profit, and saying that Big Oil is gouging…..to raising the tax on cigarettes twice, then to BEG for FREE FEDERAL “quote unquote Stimulus money” to bail Doyle out one more time.
So who bails Doyle out next time. Jobs gone, inflation, taxes in the top 5 states in the nation.
What next? Distraction? Gay Marriage??
What next?
I know the answer. Doyle takes an Obama “for life” judicial appointment and Newman and Walker beat each other up as some other Lib steamrolls to the State house.
One more Pension for Doyle as Wisconsin rots.

So now we’ve lost even more tax revenue and money spent in WI.
366 * 40k = ~15 million per year lost (no loner spent in WI) just in their salaries.
Housing prices will be driven down even further as the productive people leave, crime will now move in, for people will no longer have the means to support themselves. Sales taxes and property taxes will be raised to fight the crime and support the people… Sounds like Milwaukee…
Doyle is running the state like failed Milwaukee. Can’t he learn from our mistakes. If your from Milwaukee, you now get the double whammy. As our neighbors were supporting us, Doyle is insuring they will no longer be able to.

The nut jobs are coming out of the woodwork now. It looks like they are not only trying to drive business out of WI, but now hunters and sportsmen.
The DNR is proposing shut down parts of McMiller, mainly the sporting clays, but whats next. It is supposedly being shut down in the name of the trees, where it represents only ~.0004% of the total forest where they have been shooting for the last 15 years?
Being that there will no-longer be safe places to shoot, we can all start shooting in our back yards?
As they continue to reduce revenue from hunting, who is going to flip the bill for the parks?
April 14th, 2009 at 9:43 am
John,
McMiller has been in the sites of the Town of Eagle for some time - more than 10 years - due mainly to the influx of new residences nearby. If the DNR is now claiming “save the trees”, that’s gotta be pure bull. It is more likely due to noise complaints of the newer resies.
See: http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-6522279.html
Imagine that! Build next to a shooting range and be surprised by the noise!

Correction: Doyle IS looking for more ways to tax them.
April 14th, 2009 at 10:10 am
I guess there is really no need for McMiller, we can all start shooting and hunting in our back yards. Hope the neighbors don’t mind.
We can then start special crime units to stop people from shooting and hunting in their backyards.
Then we can reserve a place where people can safely hunt and shoot. No, wait a minute.?.
This save the trees is crap, they cut down many more 100x for the ski and hiking trails, not to mention the pollution and ones damaged by the skiers and hikers.
How many people will now be killed, because they are hell bent to take away the safe places to hunt.
In addition, they have shut down deer hunting in several areas, as well as fined the hell out of miss-informed hunters with their imaginary lines.

Where do I sign the recall papers for this moronic governor?
April 14th, 2009 at 5:26 pm
All 366 union sheeple, are now out of jobs
Do they still have to pay dues?
April 14th, 2009 at 5:49 pm
No dues, but they do get to sign a loyalty oath to “His Trajesty” Barry Obama. If they take any federal funds for unemployment or health care, Obama gets to make all their decisions for them.
April 15th, 2009 at 4:37 am
Besides, you wouldn’t want to go to McMiller now that the Dept. of Homeland Security practically considers gun owners to be “Right Wing Extremists”.
April 15th, 2009 at 8:19 am
Homeland security will have their hands full trying to catch all the criminals that Doyle and Omama are proposing to release and give amnesty (Felons).
All will need something, even Homeland Security to protect their children from the thugs they release and can no-longer profile/suspect. I will use a plastic fork if I have too.
This campaign of peace, love, birds, and bees has been all a lie, for he just slaughtered the poor victims (pirates) that him and Doyle so love. He is not going to sit down and talk to anyone that disagrees with him period.
