Georgetown Says It Covered Over Name of Jesus to Comply With White House Request
Georgetown University says it covered over the monogram “IHSâ€-symbolizing the name of Jesus Christ—because it was inscribed on a pediment on the stage where President Obama spoke at the university on Tuesday and the White House had asked Georgetown to cover up all signs and symbols there.
Heaven forbid that Barry were to speak at a Catholic university and every trace of Christianity isn’t sanitized.
Next stop, Notre Dame, where they are going to honor the pro-abortionist against all Catholic teachings.

Christians need to stop disavowing Christ. Peter was wrong but only did it only three times. Somehow this has become common when Barry asks that we put aside our beliefs.

Barry wants it both ways. He wants the support of Christians (in this case Catholics) but doesn’t want to offend the foreign Muslims (like in Iraq, Iran, etc.). For the life of me I can’t understand how so called Christians, Catholics, etc. could support this man. You knew of his radical abortion support yet closed your eyes and pulled the lever. How do you justify that?

John McCain did a remarkably poor job of bringing up issues in which he and Barry differed. Most people still don’t know about Barry’s 100% NARAL rating.

I’m no conspiracy theorist, but tell me something about Obama that shows him to be a Christian.
Certainly not his 2 Muslim Daddies.

Churches are feeling the crunch of the government stimulus also. Omama and Doyle (wishes to tax’em) have set there sights on responsible people giving and caring.
They are reducing the deduction for the rich to, under the guise of evening the tables, such that more goes to the government and less to the church. If they wanted to even the tables, why didn’t the increase the deduction for all, instead of reducing it!
Joblessness, increased tax revenue (forced out of your hands, and less money to give, this is the Change you stood up and clapped for?

Um. who cares? There is no official religion of the U.S. and the president shouldn’t be endorsing one. Kudos to Barack for being inclusive rather than bowing down to the Pope.
I’d rather have a POTUS who covers up religious symbols than one who said Jesus told him to invade a third world country.

Actually Robbie I’m not concerned that Obama requested that Christ be covered. The Romans covered him too. I am concerned that a Christian University complied with that request.

So tell me Downey, was Obama asking that the crosses be covered when he was in the pulpit of all those black churches he was in during the campaign?
Don’t think so.
BTW, didn’t your namesake recently reject his liberal beliefs after his release from Jail and Rehab?

I’d like to add something about Obama. Liberals by now must have recognized all the things about Obama that never added up. As long as they GET something, they don’t care about Obama being Marxist, a liar and him not being Christian though he claims to be. Even liberals have noticed by now that Obama has surrounded himself with liars, thieves and Marxists. Liberals are selfish and dishonest. They don’t care as long as they are on the recieving end.

<em<than one who said Jesus told him to invade a third world country.
Nice try, repeating tired old Internet urban legends from across the Atlantic. That “story” about Bush has been thoroughly debunked. But the meme continues by the sheeple.
