Drinking Right is tonight, at Papa’s Social Club on 78th & Burleigh, and I feel the need to be there!

I think tonight I will circulate my formal nomination papers to become the Official Designated Driver of Drinking Right ;-)

Getting ready to head out, sounds like a pretty good group of your favorite bloggers will be there… then I’ll show up and kill the party ;-)

Sat on the baby this afternoon. Need to recharge my batteries. Won’t make it tonight.

LOL. I bet he’s like velcro on you. Or maybe it’s the other way around?? ;)

Glenn, you were missed! Chris is making me tell you she missed you too ;-)

We had an awesome time, one of the biggest non-Christmas party crowds I have seen. Had a nice talk with State Representative (and soon to be Senator) Leah Vukmir. It’s going to be a long hard race, but Leah has my support!

Also had a chance to meet James T Harris, what a fun guy, but he was so excited to leave because he was going to see Harry Potter with his son at midnight… James just couldn’t wait ;-)

Michael Caughill (a.k.a. Elliot Stearns) was also there with a few copies of his new book, The Abortionist. It’s about a serial killer, here in Milwaukee! Even though I ordered my copy at Amazon.com, he slipped me a signed copy so I don’t have to wait! You’ve got to check it out!

There had to be about 20 other S/E Wisconsin bloggers there tonight, I won’t try to name them, because I will never remember them all, but as always, it was a great time!

By the way, I should clarify, I think James T Harris would have rather chewed off his right arm than go to that midnight showing of Harry Potter

  6. Chris from Racine Says:

LOL - And I’m sure James just LOVED the movie!!

It was good to finally see you again Patrick!! Hopefully you won’t go into hiding again…

And Glenn - no excuses next time :P

    10-4.
