Wauwatosa – Tomorrow, Scott Walker, Milwaukee County executive and candidate for governor, will air his first TV ad called “Salary,” highlighting Scott and Tonette Walker’s decision to give back $370,000 of Scott’s salary to the taxpayers. The ad will air across Wisconsin.
“Tonette and I made decision to give back $370,000 of my salary because we believe it’s time to cut government waste and fundamentally change the way government does business,” said Walker. “Our campaign is about every day Wisconsin families worried about their jobs and family budgets, and who are sick and tired of politicians who think it’s OK to waste taxpayer money and grow government.”

Practicing what you preach……what a novel idea.
A politician who doesn’t believe “More, More, More” is good tax policy…truly novel, for both parties.
Government is not the end-all-be-all solution to our problems…again, novel.

$46k a year. That is a substantial annual giveback.
I already have my Walker “Believe in Wisconsin Again” bumper stickers. But I’m experiencing a little queasiness hearing “brown” and “movement” in the same sentence. (fwiw plain old brownbag.com is being squatted on - heh heh - by ENOM, INC.)
Whilst ya’ll were poking around the web today, didja get any of Neumann’s “No Obamacare in Wisconsin” ads popping up on sites?
“Sign the Petition”, it instructs. I did, but in the comment section I suggested Mark drop his Gov bid and go after Rusty.

ROFL State Democratic Party chairman Mike Tate is ripping Scott because Scott isn’t giving back enough of his own money.
Scott gave back $60,000 for his first 6 years in office, but Tate is ripping Scott because for the past two years, he has only given back $10,000 per year.
Hey Mr. Tate, how much has your guy, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who makes over $140,000 per year given back? Let me help you… Not a dime!
One man talks the talk, well, actually he doesn’t even do that, bit one man walks the walk. That’s called LEADERSHIP.
It’s time to Believe In Wisconsin Again.
