http://chirb.it/7sgN8D this link will take you to the outrageous comment by Scott Feldt, my opponent in the republican primary for state treasurer. Listen to him in his own word tell you that the money the treasurer earns from their programs is not your money. With this view he shows he has no incentive to try to save any of what he considers the states money. Listen to this before you make your decision on who to vote for September 14

    Brewers’ Gallardo robbed at gunpoint

Police have not released a description of the suspect. I assume that if a suspect is apprehended and there is irony the Journal Comm. Group will do their very best to make sure no one finds out.

  8. gus Says:

I am so relieved to find that the suspect wasn’t a MUKWANOGO INDIAN.

    That would be wrong.

  9. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

C’mon now. The Journal doesn’t ALWAYS omit suspect descriptions:

    Anchor Bank robbed in Greenfield
    By MARK SCHAAF
Aug. 27, 2010 | Greenfield police are investigating a Friday morning robbery of a 27th Street bank.

According to a Greenfield Police Department news release, a man walked into Anchor Bank about 10 a.m., approached a teller and handed over a note saying it was a robbery and demanded money.

He left the bank, 5101 S. 27th St., on foot with an unknown amount of cash. No weapon was displayed.

The suspect was described as white, about 40 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and was wearing a long-sleeve blue or black dress shirt, black jeans, white shoes and a blue baseball cap. The cap had a dog- or wolf-type logo.

Anyone with information can anonymously call WeTip at (800) 722-7463 or Greenfield police at (414) 761-5301.

  10. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

Watching Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally out in D.C. It doesn’t appear from the size of the crowd that those punks from the New Black Panther Party had any influence in discouraging attendance. Might have been fun to see what would have happened to them had they tried.

  11. Paul Says:

@ Glenn - Blogging Blue is slamming Beck for having this rally on the date and place as Dr. King’s speech. It’s worthy to note that there was no problem from the siteowner with a mosque being built near Ground Zero.

I guess in Zach’s intellectually dishonest mind, the First Amendment only applies if you hate America.

  12. TerryN Says:

Paul, I can’t see how anyone can justify Zach’s position on both of these issues except to say he hates America. There’s far too many here like him and slowly those who don’t hate America are opening their eyes.

  13. gus Says:

Paul the MOSK site isn’t near ground zero. IT IS GROUND ZERO. The landing gear of one of the jets landed IN the building.
Martin Luther King would approve of Beck. Martin Luther King was not a lib. Like Conservatives he denounced and decried Jim Crow and other racial policies. Democrats however stood in Kings’ way whenever possible.
Zach is just a clown boy, like Johnny Forehead Foust,Crapper and Folktunes.
Since I ran FOUST off of this site, there have been less and less clown posts.
I told FOUST to never come back. And he won’t.

  14. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

Paul, apparently Zach and his Blogging Blue cult aren’t aware of the many blacks, including King’s niece, who not only spoke in very glowing terms about Beck at the ceremony but also received awards recognizing their service to others. Seems to me that the real prejudice and bigotry is coming from those who are making all these assumptions based upon no real knowledge other than their own personal bias, but then that shouldn’t surprise anyone with a normal thinking mind.

  15. mkescan Says:

I suppose all all these people will be called racist, because the crowd looks mostly white. http://weaselzippers.us/2010/08/28/honor-and-american-pride-come-to-dc

  16. Patrick Dorwin Says:

Glenn, those must be those asterisk people, huh?

  17. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

You know, I’m not what could be called a “follower” of Glenn Beck, but the guy does present alot of information that the zombie msm deliberately chooses not to present to the American public. He does educate people about the history of this country in a way that resonates with alot of REAL Americans of all ethnicities.

While watching the program on CSPAN today, I couldn’t help but draw the comparison to the crowds at many of the Tea Parties I’ve attended. These are REAL Americans and are the very people that I am proud to say I fought for during my years in law enforcement. I am proud of all these REAL Americans who are standing up and SUPPORTING their country in its time of need. I don’t think any of us joined law enforcement and/or the military expecting people to thank us for our service, but sights like this one in D.C. and all the TEA Parties are reassuring to those of us who serve/served in law enforcement and the United States Military that people do care about our country and about doing the right thing. I salute them all!

  18. Paul Says:

Now Zach has sunk to a new low - mocking the rallygoers for taking mass transit.

  19. Jaeson Says:

Zach may want to point out to his readers that 3000 did attend Al Sharpton’s anti-freedom rally:

  22. TerryN Says:

I saw a lot of people there. I wonder why that was? Hmm?

  23. dad29 Says:

  25. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

1 man dies, 2 hurt in separate shootings
By Meg Jones of the Journal Sentinel
Aug. 29, 2010 | A man died Sunday afternoon at Froedtert Hospital after being shot earlier in the day.

Police released few details but said the man, 35, was shot at 2:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of W. National Ave.

Also Sunday, a 19-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 2600 block of N. 20th St. and a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg in a separate shooting in the 4300 block of N. 15th St. The 25-year-old man showed up at a local hospital after 6 p.m. for treatment of his leg.(4)

  32. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

Didn’t something like this happen at the same event last year or is it just happening so often that it’s easy to get confused as to just exactly where and when?

Two officers injured breaking up a fight
Aug. 30, 2010 6:36 a.m. | Two Milwaukee police officers received minor injuries late Sunday night when they attempted to break up a fight that took place at Mexican Fiesta.

The officers were treated and released at a local hospital.

A 29-year-old man was arrested for his part in the fight, which took place about 10:30 p.m., and four others were cited for disorderly conduct at the scene and released.(5)

Wondering: Why is he so busy working to save overseas jobs?

  36. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

MjM, I’ve been disappointed with the DAV, the American Legion and other such organizations with their support and/or willingness to embrace the very people who think our military and police are nothing more than expendable toy soldiers. The leadership in these organizations is not unlike union leadreship which seems to operate contrary to what many of their membership believe yet always seem to get reelected to their board positions. In Wisconsin these organizations should be all over the front page and TV/radio media asking why our troops overseas aren’t going to be able to vote in this election and asking what Kohl, Feingold, Kagen, Obey, Moore and others have to say about the Obama administration failinig to waive requirements so that our Wisconsin troops can vote.

  37. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

stalker3, I didn’t think they had Detectives anymore. But crime is down!

  38. MjM Says:

Glenn, I tried to find out when/where Paloozi is going to speak… it’s not specifically listed in the AmerLegion schedule (no planned speeches are, AFAICT).

As designed by Chief Ed Flynn. He was brought in with a mandate to bust up the Detective Bureau, slash overtime and make people believe crime is down. Hope the officers ID a suspect and get him off the streets before someone else gets shot/killed.

  47. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

Hey stalker3, here’s one for you. A retired Detective was sprayed by a woman with what was likely mace resulting in the classic burning sensation on his face. This occurred on his property when he attempted to stop her from driving over his front lawn area. He got a good description including plate number and called Police. He was told no one was available to send at the time he called, but early the next morning around 3:45AM, a cop shows up at his door. To make a long story short - nothing was done. Cops went to the home of the offender who - are you ready for this? - told them that her cousin had the car that night but she doesn’t know who her cousin is. They left it at that even after he told one of the cops how to go about conducting the investigation by obtaining a D.L. photo.

(Hey Anne E., did you get all that for Ed?)

  48. stalker3 Says:

maybe he’ll have to do his own follow-up

  49. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

That’s what it’s gonna come down to in this City.

  50. Roland_Melnick Says:

What good is “increased police presence” if they aren’t responding to calls for service in a reasonable amount of time?

  51. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

It has been suggested to me in the past that I write a book on crime fighting strategies and philosophy. I always laughed at that as it seemed to be something that was just way too basic for anyone in law enforcement who had any real leadership ability, but I’m beginning to have second thoughts about that. It’s beginning to appear that I have very much overestimated the ability of some of these so-called “highly qualified” police administrators.

  58. gus Says:

Dad, I was at the Speedway on 92nd and Burleigh a couple weeks ago. I saw the decal between the back seat window and the back windshield and I did a double take. Then I saw it was on both sides. I asked the young cop about it and he laughed. This is OBAMA and AXELROD to a T. It’s Lennie Reifenstahl, it’s disturbing and it’s expensive. I understand it completely. It’s how fascists idiots behave. Obama is putting people back to work, one propaganda campaign at a time. Obama has ZERO class, and he has ZERO conscience. Again, I understand it totally.
    It’s scary.

  59. gus Says:

Jaeson, Feingold is a liar. Obama signed the PORK-U-LUS bill on Feb 17 2008. Obama had been President for 3 weeks when Obey, Pelosi, and Reid, rammed that POLITCALLY CORRUPT PAYOUT TO THEIR CONSTITUENCIES. As I’m sure you recall, the “conference committee” Senate/House, did not allow a SINGLE REPUBLICAN to participate in the merging of the 2 bills. WHY?? It’s obvious to anyone with a brain. NO WITNESSES to the deals cut.
3 WEEKS IN, and AMERICA was RAPED for an 850 billion dollar LIB slush fund.
We RESPONDED to that CORRUPT ACT.
    FEINGOLD voted FOR it.
Feingold is a nasty person, and he is soon to be a Lobbyist. Feingold has NEVER had a job, and he has VIRTUALLY ZERO net worth. He can’t make a living in the private sector. Never has. He is going to be humiliated in November.

  64. HeatherRadish Says:

Feingold has NEVER had a job, and he has VIRTUALLY ZERO net worth.

On one hand, that’s really sad. Most Congressional Democrats make huge fortunes by funneling money to their businesses or spouses (I’m looking at you, Mrs. Paul Pelosi) and taking advantage of legal insider trading to make huge fortunes, and Russ can’t even manage that.

On the other, I kinda appreciate that he’s gonna be just as !#$%^&*!ed as the rest of us.

  65. gus Says:

No he’s not. He’s got a lifetime pension and health care. That is exactly why he has zero net worth. Why save?? For what?? The paycheck never stops for govt workers. Feingold knows this and spends every dime he has on wine women and song and women.

  66. Roland_Melnick Says:

@stalker3…Had a friend on the MPD tell me today that the unofficial, general rule of thumb being applied to shootings in Milwaukee is that if it’s not a wound to the torso, no detectives will respond. Have you heard that before?

  67. HeatherRadish Says:

    gus….oh. yeah. !#$%&!.
