Tom Barrett is forcing this fiasco OpenSky on the Milwaukee Fire Department, and already, just days after the OpenSky consoles the fire department dispatchers can not hear their fire fighters on the ground. This is dangerous and unacceptable! We have police officers being guinea pigs for this failed radio system, now they are being foisted upon our other first responders. These men & women deserve the best equipment we can provide for them, not this proven failure.
I hope the voters of Wisconsin are watching this, Tom Barrett has spend almost $20 million and 6 years on a radio system that still doesn’t work, then forces our first responders to deal with radios that don’t work in places like school buildings, as we learned when police had to confiscate the radios from school staff while chasing a man with a gun in Washington High School!
Not Acceptable!
