The Wisconsin Assembly Democrats show what they really think of drunk/drugged driving in Wisconsin as they kill attempts to remove Rep. Jeff Wood after his 5th drunk driving offense, including three in 10 months. Wood was convicted in 1991 and 1992 and again two days ago, when he was sentenced to 45 days in jail and more than $1,600 in fines for third-offense drunken driving and possession of drug paraphernalia. There are two more DWI charges pending.
Wood censured after move to expel him fails
Anyone want to bet on what the chances would be of him remaining in the Assembly if Wood wasn’t a liberal moonbat? But if you vote the right way, the Wisconsin Democratic leadership won’t do anything until you kill someone… and even then, I wouldn’t bet on it.

I wonder how many of those same Democrats voted in favor of the bill that allows for the suspension/termination WITHOUT PAY of Milwaukee Police Officers who are CHARGED (not yet CONVICTED mind you) with a crime. I’d call them hypocrites, but they are lefty Democrats so that would be redundant.

Charlie Sykes pointed out something that will make your head explode, Rep. Christine Sinicki, who is related to Jeff Wood, did not vote because she was advised that to vote would be a conflict of interest. So the vote to expel Wood was 48-48… Guess who broke the tie… That would be Jeff Wood himself.
That’s right, this was decided by the drunk pot-head, Jeff Wood himself. No conflict of interest there, right?
Unbelievable… Actually, it’s not. In today’s Wisconsin, it’s totally believable.

Wisconsin Assembly really wants to get that Most Pathetic Band of Jackasses in a Statehouse trophy back from New York, don’t they?

How long before this guy gets an operating after revocation ticket? I hope the Assembly remembers any OAR tickets Wood gets are going to be a criminal offense. Maybe Colon can represent him in traffic court.
My Rep, Sinicki, has proven she does not have the moral courage to do her job.

This is typical of LIBS. Do the WRONG THING on purpose,so you can have power. I mean without this DRUNKEN SLOBS vote, they couldn’t raise our taxes and stifle our economy.
Where are Crapper and Folktunes????

I don’t think it shows how Dems feel about Drunk Driving laws.
Mainly because if this were a Republican with the exact same crimes, the Democrats would be screaming to the high heavens for his removal. So it’s clear that the law itself doesn’t really matter to them.
Rather, I think it shows how the Dems care differently about any given law, depending on whether the perpetrator is a Republican or Democrat. It’s a well publicized double standard.
