The disgraceful Pedro Colón, the outgoing state representative and supporter of multiple drunk driving colleague Jeff Wood, is getting a going away gift from Jim Doyle…
Doyle appoints Colón to circuit court judgeship

I’m sure you all remember several months ago when Representative Steve Nass was pressing for the expulsion of Jeff Wood after his third drunk driving offense in less than a year, it was Colón that that ridiculed Nass for not attending a middle of the night session where the Wood expulsion was to be handled, because Nass’ mother had just died.

Here is a press release from Rep. Steve Nass:

Doyle’s Disgraceful Appointment of Pedro Colon as a Judge

Nass: Colon lacks the temperament and sense of decency necessary to be a judge.

State Representative Steve Nass (R-Whitewater) reacted with disgust to the appointment of Representative Pedro Colon (D-Milwaukee) as a Circuit Court Judge in Milwaukee County. Representative Colon is not seeking re-election to the Assembly and had been reportedly seeking a golden parachute from Democrat bosses.

“Representative Colon has a lengthy record in the Assembly of being more sensitive to the plight of criminals than victims, promoting state support of illegal immigrants, and a proven lack of decency and compassion. Imagine how this man will treat the victims of crime in his courtroom,” Nass said.

Nass believes that this appointment by Governor Doyle is another example of patronage. Colon was apparently unable to land several other public sector jobs, so Doyle delivered help by placing this highly unqualified individual in the position of Milwaukee County Judge.

“The appointment of Colon is a disaster for the legal system and will greatly harm the public’s trust in our courts. Based on Colon’s votes in the Assembly, I fear that his service on the bench could greatly harm public safety,” Nass said.

Colón was expecting to be given a position at MMSD a few months ago, but surprisingly, they chose someone that was actually qualified.

Now this clown was given a judicial seat for his loyal liberal service to the corrupt Doyle regime.

It was a good night for Wisconsin Conservatives! Scott Walker wins quite handily, nearly 60-40 wit still a few percent yet to report.

My friend Rebecca Kleefisch also won by a strong majority over the Brett Davis and a host of other challengers.

I admit I was fearing that Sheriff David Clarke would be in trouble when left along without much of a GOP crossover vote, but he pulled it out in the primary, and will extend that in the general election. Will Clarke run for County Exec. when Scott Walker becomes Governor? A lot of us sure hope he will!

Ron Johnson crushed Dave Westlake and will take on Russ Feingold in November!

Sean Duffy, as expected, crushed his opponent.

Reid Ribble will be sending Steve Kagen back to private practice.

Dan Sebring will face Gwen Moore.

The only highlight of the Liberal evening was the fact that one lefty took out another, as the 7th District votes to overthrow Democrat Jeff Plale with a thief, Chris Larson.

Dems also renominated the Boston Store clerk, Dawn Marie Sass by an overwhelming majority. She will take on the winner of a tight GOP race.

Okay gang, take the night to celebrate, tomorrow starts the real work, it’s time to unify behind the winners of these primaries and defeat the liberal politicians that are destroying this state and nation. We need to work together to combat the common enemy, Liberalism!

Bill Christofferson, aka xoff, supports Chris Moews…Chris Moews supported President George W. Bush…Xoff secretly supported Bush?

I know we’re living in crazy times…but man-o-man…next thing ya know, staunch liberals will claim to be fiscal conservatives. Oh, wait. OK…OK…everybody simma down now…hold on a minute. Rusty must be thinking…”I’m so far to the Left, I’m actually on the Right.” You know, kinda like traveling so far to the East, you cross the 180th meridian and suddenly you’re no longer East…you’re West.

Yepper…that must be it. Feingold is a secret Conservative…probably explains this.

Too late to influence any more folks before tomorrow…so I thought I’d have a laugh. Good luck fellow citizens……..GET OUT AND VOTE!

Predictions?

Walker by decent margin, but not a landslide. Same for Kleefisch.

Larson v. Plale…too close to tell. Depends on whether there are more moderates than “progressives” left in the Dem party. Plale might win by a wider margin than anticipated if too many progs jump ship to vote for Mark Neumann.

Clarke v Moews? Moews by a healthy lead. Purely numbers. In a race where D’s vote for D’s and R’s vote for R’s, Clarke running as a D won’t get enough votes…unless “True Democrat” status is more toxic than people realize.

Just a quick note on who I will be voting for. Feel free to share your favorites.

Governor: Scott Walker. Scott will be an outstanding governor, the fact that Democrats are crossing over to vote for Neumann should speak volumes to who they fear. They know that they have a much better chance to beat Mark Neumann… I think they can too. Mark Neumann has angered a lot of Conservatives by spending his first several months running a very negative campaign, even though he now claims that he’s the only one not running negatively… Many of us have not forgotten that Neumann threatened to run as an independent to “rip the party apart.”

Lt. Governor: Rebecca Kleefisch. Rebecca is a true conservative, unlike her main opponent, Brett Davis, the only Republican to vote for Jim Doyle’s disastrous budget, his leadership on forcing Wisconsin to use ethanol to name just a few.

Senator: Ron Johnson. Ron Johnson will add a strong Conservative voice in Washington. Russ Feingold knows his days are numbered. Dave Westlake is a nice guy and may have a future in politics, but I’ll be surprised if he breaks 25% in this primary.

Sheriff: I can’t vote in this election, since it is a Democratic primary, but I fully support Sheriff David Clarke. I think Clarke may be in trouble because he continues to cling to the Democratic party that has left him long ago.

State Senate District 7: Another race that I can’t vote in, Jeff Plale is being challenged by uber-Liberal Chris Larson, a convicted thief with a record of run-ins with the law. I would vote for Jeff Plale.

Others I enthusiastically support is my friend Sam Hagedorn, who is challenging “Red” Fred Kessler, and Dan Sebring, who is challenging Gwen Moore.

Care to share you endorsements?

I had a wonderful time at the Racine TEA Party 9/11 Tribute & Town Hall, this weekend. There were about 3,500 Patriots with us along the shores of Lake Michigan.

Sorry I’m a bit late with the videos, but here are some of the highlights. I have a few more yet to do, but this will give you a taste of what you missed.

Niger Innis speaks about the Left’s continued false claims of TEA Party racism.

The National Review’s Jonah Goldberg.

Congressman Paul Ryan

Pastor David King gives a moving tribute & invocation.

The “Rock Star of Radio” Vicki McKenna and a moving tribute from Racine TEA Party’s Nancy Milholland.

Scenes from Friday’s AFSCME 48 “We Hate Scott Walker” Rally, held in front of the Milwaukee County Courthouse. Executive Director Rich Abelson makes clear to politicians the one thing AFSCME members will absolutely never tolerate: Any budget cuts of any kind.

Abelson’s quote of the day: “If you hate government, don’t run for public office.”

Those annoying background noises are the idling of a diesel generator and the eight private buses that brought the roughly 250 green-shirted attendees to the scene.

This classy lady is Annie Wacker, VP of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council. She paints a haunting picture of a world without public employees, before she really ‘fires up the crowd’ with her anti-Walker chanting.

Has anyone noticed that the Indian Summer Festival being held at the Summer Fest Grounds this weekend is honoring Warriors? They are talking about the modern day Warriors, like soldiers, police officers and fire fighters. This is an awesome thing they are doing, since the history of Native American Warriors were the protectors of their people, a position of honor, something children strove to be… This is the true meaning of the word.

Contrast that with the hyper-politically correct goofballs, like those at Marquette University that tell us that the term Warriors is derogatory and must never be used. I know it’s too late to change their (closed) minds, but I hope they caught the true meaning of the word from the people who they claimed to be protecting.
