My State Senator, Lena (I’m an attorney, you know) Taylor was called to testify before a secret John Doe hearing. She refused to testify, invoking her 5th Amendment right against self incrimination. Since she is not the target of this investigation, prosecutors granted her immunity from prosecution in this case and Taylor later testified.
The hearing is being conducted by Assistant District Attorney Bruce Landgraf, who handles public corruption cases in Milwaukee County, so I suspect that we will soon learn what the investigation is all about. I will be interested to learn what Lena Taylor is wrapped up in so much that she can’t testify about without incriminating herself… The voters deserve to know when their elected officials are acting criminally.

Where have I seen the name Michael Maistelman before? Oh that’s right – the last time I saw that name, he and the State Elections Board were busy robbing the Mark Green gubernatorial camapign blind.

I’m sure the result of this will come as a shock to me. I just hope I’m sitting down when I find out about it.
