E. Michael McCann still hasn’t built up the courage to charge Michael McJackson-McGee Jr. but he may be ready to announce possible charges on perjury and violation of a restraining order from when he threatened to kill Kimley Rucker while in a court room.

Still no word on McGee’s use of an assumed name and two Social Security Numbers.

The Milwaukee County district attorney’s office is close to announcing its decision on possible criminal charges against Milwaukee Ald. Mike McGee and has contemplated filing perjury charges in addition to a possible count of violating a restraining order for an alleged threat McGee reportedly made in a courtroom in May.

Deputy District Attorney Lovell Johnson said thatprosecutors could announce whether McGee will be charged in either matter as soon as this afternoon and that District Attorney E. Michael McCann whom McGee called a “dumb ass” in a February 2005 rally outside the safety building is reviewing the matter himself.

Just for the record, I am not holding my breath, I don’t think McCann(t) has the stones to do the right thing. The best we can hope for is that Biskupic tackles what I think looks like identity fraud and dual Social Security Number charges.
