Mark Belling discussed my earlier post, where I posted the audio of Michael McGee calling for a political opponent to be hung. Mark turned this discussion into an interesting conversation on media bias in Milwaukee. You can listen to Belling’s discussion below.
Will the local media pick up on this story? Well, as Mark said, if he, or pretty much anyone else said someone should be hung, the local media would be all over the story. He proves it with a past event on his TV show where J. J. Blonien said a judge should be taken out and shot. The paper was all over the story. Belling also has the personal experience of making an improper comment, the paper and the rest of the media was doing stories almost daily for weeks.

I don’t foresee the Milwaukee newspaper or TV channels covering this. McGee has already said just about every other offensive thing and all he gets is hugs from people like the mayor of Wauwatosa.
I already know the major newspapers to be biased but this will serve as a clear, undebatable example of bias. Watch how this will play out. The most he will get, if anything, is a slap on the wrist and a “let’s move on” from the media.
