She has to do me too!

Actually, yard signs do require a disclosure.

While this blog button issue is silly, yard signs do require a disclaimer, and you’ll see it in small print at the bottom of every sign. Or at least you should.

I feel left out… BUT… the button you have for me on the right side is a scan of my yard sign. The scribbling text at the bottom is the disclaimer.
This flap is just so much harassment by people who have to look for these kinds of issues instead of dealing with substance.
The disclaimer thing goes hand in hand with signs placed in the street right-of-way and no disclaimers on flyers.

I believe that there is no case here against you or Boot & Sabers or any other blogger that does this.
This line from a recent JSOnline article says it all.
“Neither state nor federal elections officials have ensnared bloggers or podcasters into campaign finance regulation.”
Link: JS Online: Could blogs get tangled in web of ethics rules?
The only thing left is to offer cheese and crackers to go with that person’s whine.

The Rep. Stephen Freese quoted in the JS article is the same Stephen Freese who called conservatives “Charlie Sykes stormtroopers” and as a result got his butt kicked out of office last year.
He of course believes that blogs should be regulated under campaign finance reform laws.

As I drove home from Downtown (Mo’s Irish Pub)
To lily white Oconomowoc tonight, (1 Guinness-yum yum), I passed numerous campaign yard signs. The trip to the freeway on-ramp is currently 2.5 miles. I saw signs near and at Marquette U., I saw signs west, near the Irish Cultural Heritage Center..(21st and Wisconsin), Merrill Park neighborhood…near Marquette High, then on Clybourn near St Rose of Lima…west of 27th st.
I wear glasses. I couldn’t read a single DISCLAIMER on any of these campaign signs. I sure hope the DISCLAIMERS were there. McCain-Feingold is my religion!!! It’s changed money in politics. Linda “the BIG RED Dog” Clifford is concerned about “INTEGRITY”.
Only dyed in wool, KOOL-AID drinking or complete and utter idiot LIBS, could possibly believe RED DOG CLIFFORD.
Most libs, back her, BECAUSE OF HER DISHONESTY.
They back her because they know she is lying now.
Lying to win. Sad.
I believe LIBS have the right to trot out CLIFFORD the ACLU TRIAL LAWYERS BIG RED DOG. But the dishonest tactics MUST BE NECESSARY and RATIONALIZED or they wouldn’t use them.
Would Red Dog Clifford give her phone records from her office, to see if FANCY SCHMANCY DRESS SHOPS WITH REALLY REALLY REALLY HIGH PRICED DRESSES were ordered during her working hours?
The LIB response is so predictable as to be funny.
I’m sure the WISCONSIN STATE URINAL is on the case!!
