A few day ago the Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid (D-al Qaeda), declared that The United States has lost the war in Iraq. How disgusted our troops must be that one of the most powerful men in our government says that they have lost to a pack of cowardly, murderous terrorists, when they know better. Look up, “lending aid and comfort to the enemy” and you will see Harry Reid pictured with a white flag.

There is one Democrat that also knows better, Senator Joe Lieberman. He issued this smackdown of Cut-n-Run Harry

“This week witnessed horrific terrorist attacks by Islamist extremists in Iraq, killing hundreds of innocent civilians and leading Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to declare that the war is ‘lost.’

With all due respect, I strongly disagree. Senator Reid’s statement is not based on military facts on the ground in Iraq and does not advance our cause there.

Al Qaeda’s strategy for victory in Iraq is clear. They are trying to murder as many innocent civilians as possible in an effort to reignite sectarian fighting and drive us to retreat from Iraq.

The question now before us is whether we respond to these terrorist attacks by running away as Al Qaeda hopes – abandoning the future of Iraq, the Middle East, and ultimately our own security to the very same people responsible for this week’s atrocities – or whether we stand united to fight them.

This is exactly the wrong time to conclude that we have lost the war in Iraq, or that our new strategy has failed. Instead, we should provide General Petraeus and his troops with the time and the resources to succeed. We should not surrender in the face of barbarism.”

Joe, we still have room for you on the Right side of the isle.

You couldn’t have found a more appropriate picture of Dingy Harry. He is clearly expressing his contempt for our troops and their mission to protect America.

  2. Nick Says:

Are you sure he wasn’t sending a submission into Casper?

WISCONSIN VOTED FOR THESE NUT CASES !!!!!!!!!!!!

    WE GET WHAT WE DESERVE.

Paul Rieckhoff a nationally-recognized authority on the war in Iraq and issues affecting the troops, military families, and veterans at home says his comments aren’t really that big of a deal and won’t effect the troops all that much. Rieckhoff says what could have a much worse effect on troops is President Bush during a press conference showed a graphic that showed twenty four urban military outposts in downtown Baghdad. Rieckhoff says showing that to the world and our enemies might compromise moral and could compromise operational security. Rieckhoff says when the graphic popped on the television is sent up a red flag for him and really concerned him.Rieckhoff says from the graphic of U.S. Military outposts that Bush showed, the enemy could figure out a grid pattern and try to drop mortars on the U.S troops.

Hear Mr. Paul Rieckhoff speak on this and other Iraq and military issues at link below.

The actual troops over there might disagree with some Bush-bashing so-called expert.

Dingy Harry is clearly giving aid and comfort to the enemy with his remarks. But then, the Defeatocrats have way too much invested in America’s defeat, namely using it against the Republicans in the next election cycle.

And make no mistake about it: that’s all the Defeatocrats care about. The next election cycle. The country be damned as long as they get their power.

    Just shameful.

  6. Mr. Incredibly Cool Says:

I don’t understand how Paul Rieckhoff could be considered a Bush basher. He served in Iraq, as you can see from his Bio. If he says Bush put the troops in peril by having a graphic of their military outposts which would give the enemy the ability to create a grid and bomb our troops, I don’t think that qualifies as Bush bashing. Seems more like an experienced Veteran with legitimate concerns.

    Bio
Paul Rieckhoff is the executive director and founder of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), the first and largest organization for veterans of the War on Terror. During his time in the Adamiyah section of central Baghdad, he led his light infantry platoon on hundreds of combat patrols with the 3rd Infantry and 1st Armored Divisions. He continues to serve his country as an Infantry Officer in the New York Army National Guard.

Anyone that comes back and writes a Bush bashing book is a hero to the idiot Left, which has so much invested in America’s defeat. The Drive By Media, which also has invested in our defeat, celebrates the guy as some sort of hero.

You retards can keep cutting and pasting from this guy’s website and linking to it all you want. You’re just like the idiotic MoveOn.org, Kos Kids, DUmmies and the rest of the treasonous, traitorous Leftards who have been trying to get us defeated since we were attacked on 9/11.

In other words, Bush wasn’t legitimately elected so let’s do everything we can to undermine him and undermine our troops so we can use it in the 08 elections to get Shrillary elected.

You people make me sick. Bunch of traitors and cowards. You want another Vietnam, to see America come home with its tail between its legs.

Difference here is, unlike the Viet Cong, this enemy will follow us home and kill us here.

And frankly I hope they kill you first.

  8. michael Says:

Instant credibility for a nut case, I SERVED IN IRAQ (as a cook at the mess hall). It really shows the intelligence of the dumbocrats that they will defend Reid for surrendering our country but will bash our president for leading the troops in battle. All at the same time the dumbocrats are actively trying to get us to loose this war. FOR WHAT….POLITICAL GAIN….

  9. Patrick Says:

I have to disagree with one point… Every single member of our service deserves respect. I don’t care if they are on the front line or a clerk in a stateside supply depot or pealing potatoes at a mess hall, they all deserve our greatest respect. Disagree with this man for his political beliefes, but don’t disrespect a service member for the position they serve in.

  10. Peter Says:

I don’t have much respect for any former service member who comes back and works to undermine our efforts over there. All the squawking from the Left does is to embolden our enemies. They believe they can wait us out, and I believe they are correct, sad to say.

  11. Roland Melnick Says:

‘cpeter13′ thinks he is clever because he can cut and paste and cite a source. Well then answer me this smartguy…do you doubt for a second that the enemy has a hard time finding our troops? We are the ones in uniform…in big marked vehicles…etc, etc. There is nothing subtle, or secret about our presence in Iraq. They already know where to drop the mortar shells. We aren’t the ones hiding behind mosques, women and children or under rocks. This enemy has no honor (despite what Bill Maher has said).

And I agree with Peter. Thanks to assholes like Harry Reid, our enemies have every reason to believe we will eventually lose our resolve, tuck tail and run.

  12. galahad_morphing Says:

I\’m surprised that our own army (Riekoff is a soldier) doesn\’t know that, Ronald. He does\’t know that troop movements and locations are hardly secret??
