Lt. Gen. Russel “Don’t get stuck on stupid” Honore retires at the end of the week. We thank him for his service, and a phrase that will live on.

Actually PCD is correct. It is up to the whole country, not the government, to prepare for a disaster. How many N.O. residents were prepared for Katrina? Not even the Governor or the Mayor!
