Ol’ Loophole Louie continues to be hammered with the truth that he tries to hide. Charlie Sykes and Jessica McBride continue to disseminate the facts about this pro criminal justice, who the last time he ran for election, he lost in a landslide. (remember, he had to be appointed since he lost so miserably)
Now questions are being raised abut Loophole Louie using the offices of a powerful Milwaukee law firm for the past several years, and according to records, he never paid a dime and this has never been recorded as is required by law. Wisconsin Conservative Digest owner Bob Dohnal has filed a complaint with the Government Accountability Board, but except for WisPolitics, Brian Fraley (1, 2), the Wisconsin Club For Growth, and now James Wigderson, there has been no coverage in the main stream media.
We had a tip on this a few weeks ago, but I wasn’t sure it was solid enough to run with, but now that the story is here, we will also provide coverage as it unfolds. Expect more on this later today.

Hey Patrick, it looks like “that powerful Milwaukee law firm” really stood united in their financial support for Louis Butler last year.
At least, according to the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign’s contribution database, that is…

The MJS had it in an article online already on Tuesday. The “Poor, poor conservatives; nobody covers our stories,” schtick is wearing a little thin.

Grumps, could you give us the link to the JSonline story? I’d like to read their spin & compare it to the Sykes/McBride spin.

This is rich. Club for Growth (and Fraley) argue that Butler’s (former) treasurer had cases before SCOWI. That is false–apparently CFG can’t tell the difference between John D, Finerty, Sr. (who volunteered his time as Butler’s treasurer) and John D. Finerty, Jr., who argued before the court. Junior never worked for or even gave money to Butler.
