What is wrong with the above picture? it is a screen shot from the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board’s Campaign Finance Information System. I am posting a screen shot, because I would hope once their hilarious error is pointed out to them, they will fix it.
In answer to the title question, the problem is, the city skyline on the Wisconsin Campaign Finance Information System website is the skyline of Minneapolis Minnesota.
And get this! “The board is paying Connecticut-based PCC Technology Group about $1 million to develop the new site.” I would build their site and even use pictures from Wisconsin for a whole lot less.

Well, of course our own GAB should use the MN skyline, as, uh, an inspiration to us Badgers to be more like those golden gophers, who, run those clean elections, like, uh, Al Franken, who got more votes than voters, ya hey….

Of course it’s the east/west coast mentality…we’re all the same in fly-over country.

I thought high tech companies and jobs were what Madison and Milwaukee have been attracting…or so they claim…so why do they have to send our tax dollars to Connecticut? Patrick notwithstanding, there is no one in Wisconsin capable of doing a better job? We’ve all heard that fruitcake I-Net guy who says “MeWow” too much on the radio…what about his company?

Maybe I-Net didn’t give the right official 2 free tickets to Hawaii?

The only thing missing is the Obama picture.

A million dollars? I could have had a set of first graders, from any school, draw a more correct drawing of the skyline. And they would have been happy with a candy bar for all their hard work. Yikes ! A million dollars !!

Which government employee approved the pic?
Mr.Nobody. No accountability. Folktunes should weigh in on this one.

Apparently there are no Wisconsin based businesses that could have kept some of that million tax dollars in the state, huh?

Patrick, the real question is..Who made this decision, and why?
