The Vrakas / Dwyer fight isn’t over yet

by @ 10:20 pm. Filed under Home

Now the real Vrakas Dwyer fight begins. Let’s all remember that Dwyer will still be the County Board Chairman, in place to obstruct Vrakas. No one likes getting whooped, let’s keep our eyes pealed.

Vrakas / Dwyer election results

by @ 8:47 pm. Filed under Home

Looks like a Vrakas landslide! It is running about 70%-30% with about a quarter of the vote in!

UPDATE

With 38% of the votes counted:

VRAKAS: 19,330 68.46%

DWYER: 8,883 31.46%

UPDATE: 8:58

Votes are coming in from Brookfield now, they are breaking heavily for Vrakas. Dwyer is doing well in Menomonee Falls, but that’s his home town, so expected

UPDATE: 9:12

With 82.5 % of the votes counted, Vrakas is still up 67% - 32%

Looks like a Vrakas landslide. Good Job Waukesha County!

EarlySpin Website finally up

by @ 8:21 pm. Filed under Home

The EarlySpin website is up, they changed the URL slightly, but it is easily fixed and I would think they will fix it. You can reach their page by using http://www.earlyspin.com/main.html there is also a script error showing at the bottom, but you can now check out the cast.

I’m going to surf the sight now, just wanted to let y’all know :)

UPDATE: I came, I saw, I like!

Okay, I admit it, I love their new site! The audio section has replays of interviews, and they have a Blog! There is nothing on the Blog now, but just having one is a plus in my book

Hey Tim Schilke, you are famous, you made their Spin Dodgers page

I don’t know what their Spin Club is, but I’m signing up, I guess I’ll find out.

Waukesha, you have until 8 p.m. to Vote

by @ 6:46 pm. Filed under Home

You folks in Waukesha have until 8 p.m. to vote tonight, don’t get complacent! The lower the turnout, the greater effect the Doyle lackeys will have. They expected a 10% turnout, that in its self is a disgrace! Over 10 million people braved terrorists and car bombs to participate in their government again just a few days ago… If you don’t vote, you better have a better reason than they had.

Note to my friends: If I know you personally and I find out that you didn’t vote, I promise to make your life a living hell of that Liberal wins

I will be posting the results here as soon as they start to count the votes… NO GO VOTE VRAKAS!

Update: Good News

Reports are that voter turnout is quite a bit higher than the 10% that were expected, this is a good thing, the higher the percentage, the worse it looks for Dwyer emoticon

Candidate ends bid to replace Nowak

by @ 6:12 am. Filed under Home

Oops…

JS Online: Candidate ends bid to replace NowakOne of the candidates who took out papers to challenge Mayor Jeff Nowak in the recall election said Monday that he has withdrawn from the race.

Murray Jones said he forgot that his home on Huntley Court will become part of the city of Waukesha in 2007 under the terms of a border agreement reached about five years ago.

-

"I’ve decided not to run, the chief reason being that I overlooked a rather important detail: Where I am living is being absorbed by the city of Waukesha," Jones said. "I’ve been living with this ‘going into Waukesha’ for so long now that I forgot about it."

Waukesha, VOTE TODAY!

by @ 6:07 am. Filed under Home

Vote for Vrakas today! Without his Victory, Jim Doyle’s candidate will win. If you are among the 77% of Waukesha residents that support TABOR, you only have one vote, because Dwyer opposes TABOR, Vrakas is a supporter.

Get out there and prove them wrong, they say only about 10% of you will vote in this hugely important election. With numbers that low, Dwyer could pull out an upset with his help from Doyle lackeys in the Teachers and Public Employee unions, they are both working hard to elect the liberal candidate, this can not stand in Wisconsin’s most conservative county, so get out and Vote!

JS Online: Low voter turnout expected Tuesday If you vote today in Waukesha County’s special election for county executive, you are probably in the minority.

A scant 10% of the county’s registered voters are expected to turn out at the polls to decide the race between James Dwyer and Dan Vrakas.

The county has about 270,000 registered voters.

Citing the unusual timing of the election and the fact that nothing else is on the ballot, County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus has projected a turnout of 10%.

Vote Vrakas for Victory!
