Guess what community is in the news for going soft on child molester?

Friday, October 5th, 2007

A 28 year old man has sex with a girl, starting when she is 14, and has sex with her at least three times. The now 15 year old girl is pregnant. The news reports call it “consensual sex,” but the law says that a 14 year old girl can not give consent, so they should call it what it is, a child molestation. The molester, Gregorio Dionicio Dedios plead no contest to a charge of Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Minor, a felony that has up to a 25 year sentence…

But our old friend Sheboygan County Circuit Court by Judge James Bolgert is back with another of his asinine sentences. instead of giving this puke 25 years in prison, he gives him… Get this… 8… not years, but 8 months… Wait, it gets better… He is also giving him credit for time served, so this child molester will be back on the streets right around Christmas.

28-year-old gets 8-month sentence for impregnating 15-year-old

If there is anyone at all in Sheboygan that considers themselves a community leader, you need to speak out, and do it loud and clear. Judges like Judge James Bolgert Judge Terence Bourke and Judge Timothy Van Akkeren must, for the good of your children, be held accountable.

Doyle is at it again

Friday, October 5th, 2007

Governor Jim Doyle has instructed a state employee, Michelle Curtis, to search federally protected confidential financial records of University of Wisconsin students, to locate some that have had a delay in the Wisconsin Higher Education Grant (WHEG), because of the budget impasse. Doyle is looking for volunteers to stand with him at a press conference next week.

The last time I checked, it was also illegal for a state employee, on state time, using state resources, to do political work… Add to that, using the confidential financial records of students… And I’d say we might have a crime. Earth to J.B. Van Hollen!

The next big cop hater cause

Friday, October 5th, 2007

A police officer is on patrol at 1:30 am and gets a call of a suspicious person, and comes across a 15 year old girl carrying bags of clothes. Of course, the officer stops to check her out, remember, this is 1:30 am, well past curfew. The girl refuses to obey the officers commands and begins struggling with him. He keeps telling her to stop resisting and just put her hands behind her back. He also told her that he did not want to use force on her, but she kept up her struggle to prevent herself from being handcuffed. As the struggle continues, the officer is not losing his temper or trying to hurt her, something he could have easily done at any time.

A few minutes into the struggle, the girl bites the officers wrist, committing a felony battery on the officer, at which time, the officer escalates the force by hitting her in the face to get her to stop biting, then pepper sprays her. He is then able to handcuff her and put her in the car.

This was all caught on video:

I suspect that this will be under the microscope, and this officer, who was doing his job, will be trashed by the media and “the usual suspects”. But when you fight the cops, bad thing will happen. This officer could have hurt her bringing her under control, but he used pepper spray to control the situation without hurting her. This was brought upon her by her own actions.

It’s going to be a beautiful fall weekend in the Milwaukee area — Enjoy it!

Friday, October 5th, 2007

We opine on Milwaukee’s problems around Badger Blogger sometimes because we love this city so much, and know how great it is… but also, how much better things could be. If you believe the weather folks, we’re going to be blessed this weekend with some great “summerish” fall weather.

Milwaukee’s a great place for a bike ride, or a good walk, or just some outdoor conversation with good friends. With all the recent changes in our skyline, it’s a great time to be a tourist in your hometown. Take your camera along, because even a native Milwaukeean finds a new perspective on our city every once in a while…
