I’m sure the Journal Sentinel employees that lost their jobs don’t mind reading this:
Journal CEO’s compensation increases
Total compensation increased almost 22% last year for Journal Communications Inc. chairman and chief executive Steven J. Smith, according to a regulatory filing by the company Thursday.Smith earned no bonus, but his salary rose 3.7% to $798,077. He received stock awards worth $1,672 and option awards valued at $397,003, a proxy statement for the Milwaukee-based media company and publisher of the Journal Sentinel said. The biggest change in compensation was in the value of Smith’s retirement benefits, which grew to $233,110, compared with $74,782 in 2007…

“He received … option awards valued at $397,003,”
With JRN stock currently at 58 cents, somehow I doubt these options are now worth zero.
Unless the CEO, umm, exercized his options while they were still worth something, and then dumped his shares before they could lose value? Hey, Journal-Sentinel reporters- enquiring minds want to know: is it possible that your CEO might be selling the Company short?

Oparah makes this much in one day. Does she really need all this money? Let’s spread her wealth, take her profits and give it to the administration in the name of the children.
Looking at others with envy only leads to entitlement, where justified self-negligence is used to demand what you do not deserve.
No, let’s not look at others in envy, that they may or may not have worked hard for what they have. Let’s not take/steal other peoples money under penalty of great fine or prison in the name of the children. Let’s concentrate on what you are doing, who you are caring for, what you did to help, what you gave, how you participated…
You determine what you can do, you really do not deserve anything from anyone else. When they give, they are trying to help you, not entitle you.
Hint, when Doyle and Obama tell you deserve something, it is a common sale pitch and your going to have to pay for it one way or another.
