I was advised by the media that without the proper training the gun would not be effective and would be more harmful to me and my family?
Sadly, now they will have empathy and pitty for the criminal, exclaiming that he is not a bad kid and will be tramatized for life. Doyle will try to release him a start many new programs to find him a job, for no real harm was done. The lawyers and D/A office will try to twist this around, if they can, and take the real victims life savings.

I was very pleasnatly surprised that there were no charges being filed against the homeowner. I suppose i should say yet, until the big baby gets out on bail and sues the homeowner for emotional trauma or some BS like that.
You know, I would think that a lot of people, if the unfortunate happened and there was a burgular in your house, would love to catch him/her in the act, scare the crap out of him and give him a taste of his own medicine. to protect your home i mean
I would love to meet the 68 year old homeowner and shake his hand. I bet he would be a hoot!!

Most murder committed in Milwaukee, suicide through-out the rest of WI is self-regulating.
~450 deaths per year.
~225 suicide
~105 in Milwaukee per year alone, where the majority are not self inflicted.
Where Doyle uses a small portion of the entire state to justify gun control or taxing/feeing the hell out of us. Like he does using Milwaukees welfare, drunk driving, foster care, prison, education, and transportation problems to levey taxes on the rest.
Where a small portion (less than 1/5th) of the state trys to pull the rest of us down with it.

Bravo to the homeowner.
Was he carrying while out and about? Or did he sneak past the burglar, open the safe, remove the gunlock, open the safe with the ammo, then load the magazine prior to racking the slide?
He talked to much during his phone call. Much of what he said could have been used against him if he had to use his weapon. Ripon is pretty rural and a 68 year old man defending his home would be difficult to prosecute but I woundn’t put it past some of our county attourneys and even if he didn’t get prosecuted he could have been sued.
But then again I am reminded of Teddy Roosevelt’s “The Man in the Ring”.
So again Bravo to the homeowner.

To hear that burglar whimpering in the background shows that he wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. Bravo to the homeowner to have stood up and confronted this sad sack. Kind of reminds me of the story I heard (where it took place I forgot)of some fully armed punks breaking into this man’s house, but the man starts shooting off his gun and the punks fled the scene. The guy’s security camera caught the video of these characters trying to get into their vehicle to get away.
