I joined the ranks of smart phone users back in March. I quickly became one of those people who incessantly text/type on their phones and have come to realize why my phone is referred to as a Crackberry. One of the first applications I downloaded for it was the “IHeartRadio” app, which allows the user to stream internet radio. It’s a free app…only cell provider usage rates will cost you.Â

When I first got it, the list of available streams was OK. One of my favorites is the alternative rock station, 102.1 “The Edge” out of Dallas-Fort Worth. Well, recently I noticed that WISN 1130AM was added to the playlist. As noted criminal defense lawyer and censorship advocate, Mike Plaisted, would say: “All the easier to receive your daily talking points download from central command.”

Damn straight…with good quality sound too!

I got sick and tired of waiting for them to add 1130 to this free app several months ago and bought Pocket Tunes Radio for $9.99. Ah well.
