Obama has supposedly given around 450 public speeches since assuming the Office of the President. What amazes me is not the amount of the public exposure, but that he was physically able to do so with a foot constantly in his mouth. Early on, it was apparent that Obama was perfectly comfortable with the notion of demonizing a variety of Americans. Whether or not he realizes what he is doing, and there are strong arguments on both sides of the question, Obama has created a blacklist onto which he has cast many Americans. A rather unpatriotic attitude coming from an elected public servant in my humble opinion.

I know…calling Obama a public servant sounds absurd given his tendency to treat Americans as his servants, but someone needs to tap him on the shoulder and remind him who works for who in this country. A public servant doesn’t rule his/her people like a king, or worse, a Hugo Chavez-esque despot.

Remember when the GM and Chrysler executives were summoned to Washington DC to perform in the Congressional Dog-N-Pony show? They did what powerful executives do…they got on their business jets and flew on down. Obama, Reid, Pelosi, the MSM and others breathlessly condemned those executives while also demonizing the business aviation industry. An irreconcilable bit of hypocrisy given that it’s their preferred method of transportation.

I saw that and thought to myself…”don’t they realize that the aviaton industry employs thousands of highly paid high-tech jobs, many of which are unionized? Don’t they realize that it’s an industry dominated by Americans that has customers all over the world which generate income for the US in the world economy?” Apparently not since they decided to crap all over it. What kind of country are we living in when law abiding, hard-working Americans feel the need to defend and justify their existence in the face of their political leaders? How sad is it when you have citizens pleading with the President to stop demonizing them?

Today’s headlines show more of the same. You’ve got Obama taking yet another swipe at Las Vegas, again prompting a segment of Obama’s constituency to recoil in defense. Even Harry Reid complained openly. Let’s hope that Obama’s trip to Nevada later this month will bolster Reid’s re-election with the same level of success we saw in the Massachusetts Senatorial race.

We’ve seen countless other sectors/groups of American citizens thrown under the bus since Obama took office. I’d be interested in what example you, the Badger Blogger reader/visitor, can add to this discussion.

Obama goes to Las Vegas not to praise it, but to bury it.

Obama is an embarrassment to the Free World. No wonder the collection of tyrants and crackpots from the U.N. often side with his oppressive agenda.

But at least they like him in Europe and the Middle East, right? We have regained the world’s respect, right?

  4. Bruce Says:

Yes, stalker, the world loves us now. We rock. Hope and Change! Our country is bankrupt thanks to a corrupt single-party power-grab, but we’ve recaptured respect from around the globe!

    Oh, wait…

Obama is to America what the gas pedal is to Toyota.

If only someone would slam this thing into neutral and stand on the damn brakes.

I think we should expand the blacklist thing, but make it more like “The Scarlet Letter.”

I think that those who supported Barack Hussein Obama and voted for him to be our president should wear a pin with one of those cultish O symbols.

We would know who shared responsibility for this mess. We would know who we can easily fool or influence. We would know which waitress to tip or not tip. We would know who supports someone that hates his country, that had a preacher who hated white people. We would know who doesn’t have a problem with corruption.

He wishes. Germany thinks he’s dead, France is not impressed..

Look for their Obama ink, at least until the federal funding for tattoo removal recognizes them as gang symbols.

Heather, How long do you suppose the musical lasts in Frankfurt?

Well the linked article said it was a one-off…

Is the state funding it, or ticket sales? Or was it a tax write-off? ?? Springtime for Obama, and Sheriff Joe…??

    Time to smash the teleprompter.

  15. PCD Says:
