On the verge of Democrat Congressional action that will damage our economy and tarnish our political system beyond repair if it passes…today, throngs of people gathered in Washington D.C. yet again to stand up against one of the largest tyrannical power grabs in American history.

A BadgerBlogger reader who made the trip to D.C. just for the rally sent us these photos. From the photos and descriptions of the weather and activities, it sounds as though it was a day not to be missed.

As you can plainly see…nothing but a bunch of violent extremists…

Roland, are you serious when you say that the MSNBC crowd estimate was “50 to 60 people?”

    That’s insane.

I spoke to a gentleman who was on the scene in D.C. this afternoon, and he estimated the crowd at 50,000 on the low side and 75,000 on the high side.

How many of those people would have known how to spell the word “Syracuse?”

Just wondering. I digress, of course.

  2. Roland_Melnick Says:

No…the MSNBC comment was tongue-in-cheek like most of my photo captions. I haven’t looked at that network in quite a while, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they drastically underestimated the numbers. They don’t have time to count the crowd when they are busy looking for the handful of most extreme nuts in the crowd.

On Meet The Press this morning, host David Gregory got Steny Hoyer to admit that this nightmare of a bill relies on future Congresses to have the courage to make cuts and tax increases, which is to say a level of courage they don’t possess now.

  4. Duke Says:

As we wait for the first vote on passage of this travesty, I’m torn between hoping it passes and hoping it is defeated.

While it’s defeat would straight-up show the ineffectiveness and unpopularity of Obumma and his political hacks in the Congress, it’s passage in the face of overwhelming public anger would spell the end of the liberal Democrats in our lifetimes.

And I have a hard time deciding if these liberals (aka “progressives”) are incompetent, ignorant or simply criminal.

According to Fox news, Stupak said “we have a deal.” So it’s all over but the counting.
Remember there are no “blue dog” or moderate democrats. A democrat is a democrat is a democRAT.

I hope I’m wrong about this.

  6. MjM Says:

Duke, I think the word you are looking for is relentless.

“It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.” - Sgt. Kyle Reese, The Terminator, 1984.

Stupak caved, they are contending, after being promised some future Executive Order… from the most staunchly pro-kill enthusiast on the planet.

Which means, that isn’t the real reason.

If Congressman Stupak believes for an instance that Tax Payers will not be paying for abortions under this bill he may be as big a fucking moron as Crapper and Folktunes.
There is ZERO POSSIBILITY that abortions will not be included ZERO.
    MARXIST IS AS MARXIST DOES.
Remember the scorpion. Only a fool would ever trust a Democrat again.
