Mark Neumann must be getting pretty desperate, over the past day or so, Neumann volunteers have been sending out a lie-filled email claiming that Scott Walker was dropping his bid for Governor and was switching to run for Lt. Governor and support Neumann. This is a bald-faced lie.
I admit, I did not support Neumann for this race, but he was someone I respected… Until now. This was just a stupid thing to do. Mark, get out of the race before you embarrass yourself more than you already have.

If these reports are accurate, this is low. It reeks about as badly as the workers at the “Fair Wisconsin” phone banks who tried to intentionally mislead senior citizens on referendum voting.
Mark, you’re like the ex-husband who comes to his ex-wife’s next wedding. You’re seated at a table with grade-school friends of the bride, you can’t figure out why no one wants to dance with you, and the only person who’ll talk to you is the photographer (and he keeps looking at his watch.)

Could you post a copy of these alleged emails, and what volunteers are allegedly sending them? To be blunt it sounds rather fishy to me. Such a disinformation campaign would have absolutely no purpose, and I do not believe anyone at the Neumann campaign is that dense. Especially since in the latest polls the race is pretty much a dead heat, with Neumann beating Walker outside of Milwaukee. Considering Neumann has spent a lot less, it is the Walker campaign I imagine is getting frustrated. The few people I know working off Neumann are energized and quite positive.
So…I guess I am saying in as respectful a fashion possible, put up or shut up.

I haven’t received the emails, Mark Belling reported it on WISN and he has identical emails from multiple @markforgov.com email addresses from what are said to be Neumann volunteers.

Thanks for the link. probably should have been in the original post?
Pretty nuts if someone over there was doing that.
I just cant believe that the Neumann campaign would do something that dumb. Of course I called a friend a liar when he told me Walkers brown bag was a recycled direct mail gimmick from a firm in Ohio too, and wouldn’t have thought a campaign would outsource a “Believe in Wisconsin Again” website to a out of state firm either, so I clearly have far too high a opinion of the professionalism of Republican campaigns in Wisconsin.
I hope both get their act together. Right now its getting embarrassing. perhaps the state party should have Vote Republican: We Are Slightly More Competent! as a slogan. Whats a conservative libertarian to do these days. Its depressing.

Did he switch over to the Democratic party?
Or is he actually from Chicago?

Hopefully this will kill off Mark Neumann’s run for Governor.
Rightwingnut- Belling’s podcasts are not available until after his show is over. Chances are that this post was up before they were released and thus couldn’t be in the original post.

Here’s the infamous Derrick Ellerman:

Think he knows his name has been used to spread a lie?

What??? That’s ridiculous!! Why would anyone put that out there when it takes two seconds to disprove??

Charlie Sykes confirmed that the emails were from the Neumann campaign. Worse yet, he also said Mark Neumann himself has been spreading the rumors that Walker was going to drop out and run for Senate.

I have to admit back when I was a College Republican, I saw some people do some amazingly stupid things…and many of them are in office and work for the party now.
