Time for Governor Walker to do the same for Wisconsin.

County may end year with $8.9 million surplus
Milwaukee County should end 2009 with a surplus of $8.9 million, a big turnaround from earlier shortfall forecasts, according to a report issued Monday.

The credit goes to about $12.6 million in mid-year belt-tightening moves, as well as $12 million in lower-than-expected health care costs, County Executive Scott Walker said.

“Had we not done the $12.6 million in changes, we’d actually be in a hole right now,” Walker said.

Scott Walker haters explode in 3… 2… 1…

Capper will have 5 blog posts out before noon… Showing how overworked he is in his cushy county job.

Scott Walker WILL change the way things are done in Madison (and Wisconsin) after he gets elected Governor in November, and the lefties are soiling their pants at the thought of losing their ways of doing things.

Maybe Chris will get angry and disappear into fat air.

This is where moonbats will gripe about a loss of the oxymoron known as “essential services.”

“That shoulda been OUR money!” — public sector unions.

Yes Crapper is upset. Seems some of that EXCESS TAX MONEY could have been spent on more donuts for CRAPPER. Jelly filled, and chocolate covered no doubt. The guy is mentally ill. He’s blathering about being overtaxed.
If Crappers mental illness wasn’t sad, I’d laugh.
Crappers “largesse” was paid for by the taxpayer.

I’m surprised someone hasn’t said this already. - I Blame Scott Walker.

On a serious note, this is clear evidence that the squeezing that Scott Walker has done has worked. Being able to start 2010 with a surplus is much better than starting with a deficit. Much more and better things can be expected when starting with a surplus.

Sadly, the liberals will, as Capper has already tried, try to turn this into a negative for Walker. Their hate of him will never allow him to claim a victory.

  8. Jaeson Says:

Leftists love to parrot preachings about Clinton’s surplus,

Surely they should then be quite happy about this.

People like Chris Liebenthal, aka capper, aka AFSCME union goon, aka bloggus copy pastus, find fault with everything Walker does do, doesn’t do and has absolutely nothing to do with. Rabid goofs like him bluster a lot, but they don’t have the power to allow or deny Walker a victory. Walker’s success will speak for itself.

But CRAPPER is a LARGE LARGE man.

    That must count for something.???

  12. Roland_Melnick Says:

Yep…it means whatever slappy slogan is printed on his t-shirt can be read from a mile away…a real asset for someone in his line of work.

Slogans? One could put a novel on that gut.
