Milwaukee Mayor, and gubernatorial candidate Tom Barrett has started a new initiative, Take Root Milwaukee, that will work with people facing foreclosure or looking to buy a home that they can’t afford, purchase one. The money will come from the City of Milwaukee taxpayers, Freddie Mac and a group of local banks and businesses.
One of the primary partners in Barrett’s plan is Affordable Housing Centers of America. The name ring a bell? It should, because before their parent company was caught is scandal after scandal, they changed their names, and this is one of the subsidiaries. The were formerly known as… ACORN.
That’s right, Tom Barrett has jumped into bed with an organization so corrupt that even the Obama administration and the Democratic legislators cut them off.
Even though there have been ACORN members convicted of election fraud crimes right here in Wisconsin, the man seeking the Democratic nomination for Governor (a.k.a. Doyle’s third term), had teamed up with this same group… Only the name has been changed. Affordable Housing Centers of America brags about the fact that they have the same leadership as when they were operating as Acorn Housing Corporation.
What’s in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet…
And, that which we call a fresh Wisconsin cow patty… Doesn’t smell anything like Tom Barrett’s rose

Do you ever wonder how people like this get where they are? They do absolutely nothing to achieve what they have, but they somehow become elevated to a status of authority.
