Liberal Meme: Arizona’s new immigration law will lead to a widespread increase in racial profiling.
Counterpoint: Given that Arizona’s law was crafted a near carbon copy of the Federal law, why haven’t these same critics been clamoring about Federal racial profiling all along? Why does Arizona’s law automatically equal racial profiling?

Liberal Meme: Arizona has no right to assume authority on an issue already covered by Federal law.
Counterpoint: What about all the other Federal laws that States have mimicked in order to facilitate enforcement action at the State/Local level? Drug laws…tax laws…organized crime laws…etc? Clearly, these other laws can’t be enforced by the Fed alone, so why should immigration be any different?

Liberal Meme: Arizona is violating Federal law.
Counterpoint: Can’t take credit for this one. A sharp young White House reporter stumped Gibbs by asking: Why is Obama’s Dept. of Justice targeting Arizona for action when sanctuary cities also violate Federal law? Apparently, you can even stump old Baghdad Bob Gibbs with that one:

The folks at MBC Nightly News reported tonight that Illegal Aliens are already leaving Arizona and it’s tearing apart families and idling local businesses.
Do you think Gibbs will get back to that reporter like he said he would?

I think we need to empty our prisons and send these people to Mexico, they can go right across the border. Give them a fresh start, just like the Marielitos. And if any of them have family in the US, we can let them be reunited- in Mexico.
Mexico is a country that would respect their civil and human rights, Look how they demand we treat their citizens who are here illegally. Look at how they care about their citizens in Mexico that have murdered Americans. They won’t extradite if they face the death penalty or even life without parole! Just google David March.
Why with all the violence down there, the thugs would probably find work right away.
