A couple observations on this interview of President Obama by Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos. “The One we’ve been waiting for,” according to Oprah Winfrey, who was to be the post-partisan uniter has really turned out to be a thin-skinned reactionary that is, in fact, 100% partisan. Is it reasonable for him to expect Republicans to come to the table while he accuses them of taking Americans “hostage?” This level of rhetoric is not productive and lacks the most basic respect for differing viewpoints. This guy needs to grow up, realize you don’t run a country like you run a campaign and finally assume the responsibilities of the job.
Mr. President, continuously blaming Bush and the Republicans for our situation 20 months into your term is admitting you are powerless to do anything about it.
Notice that, in Obama’s brain…a tax cut is the same as “spending.” In response to questions about tax policy, he says things like “if you’re going to spend $95 Billion for these tax cuts….” In his brain, it’s the government’s money. Taxing people less is an “expense.” No where does cutting the costs of government enter into the discussion. So all of us have it wrong…it’s not OUR money…it’s HIS money and if he is gracious enough to let us keep some, we should consider ourselves lucky.
Best part of the interview is the last minute or so. Stephanopoulos presses him pretty hard and causes the Obamatron to get stuck in a talking point loop. The bloom is off the rose. Good job, George.

The Republicans are holding America hostage? Really?
Aren’t people usually held hostage by force?
So what party voted for the health care mandates in the oppressive ObamaCare bill?
Obama is truly one of the most despicable creatures to have ever walked the face of the planet.

BHO, chiming in, condemns Terry Jone’s “Koran” burnings set for 9-11. Now, BHO owns the problem, as does those other accomodators in O’s regime who sought to head this off - if Jone’s goes ahead the regine looks truly impotent - the Commander in Chief has no sway with the Hulk-Hogan-mustached rural preacher. And why should he? If Jones’ point is that at every turn we accomodate to survive or appease, he’s right. When our female reporters journey into muslim territory to conduct interviews, other than in Jordan, for example, they have to burka-up. Our soldiers can’t display bibles for fear that it will insult Islam and add to terrorist recruiting. According to the O-regime, everything we do adds to terrorist recruting! And if we do nothing, that adds to terrorist recruting, because we appear weak. So if we do everything to antagonize muslims, we add to recruiting for terrorists. If we do nothing to antagonize muslims (if that’s even possible), we add to recruiting. So now tell me again why Americans are dying in muslim lands? It just adds to recruiting! If we go there it adds to recruting, and if we die there, it increases recruting because they are emboldened to drive us out. Terry Jones is right about one thing, at least: It’s time to send a message - that our tolerance has limits and when the limits are exceeded we will protect and defend. That’s why we can’t afford a Kenyan/Indonesian-my daddys were muslims-my preacher was muslim-everything I learned about America I learned on the internet president.

The remaining supporters of the “Great Uniter” are those he panders to. He’s saying anything he can say without having to talk about his policies, which would further sink his party.
I’m also hearing that the Rural Preacher has called off his bonfire for a meeting with Muslim “officials”. I can only imaging the MSM reaction if the “hick preacher” builds a bridge.

Obama is speaking to no one now, but the small slice of America that is deluded.

Honestly, I don’t know why anyone would be surprised by this. Obie espouses nothing we all - and I do mean all - don’t already know.
He knows what he is; a raging socialist leaning hard to communism. His supporters know it full well. And we know it.
So, the only thing left is, what are you going to do about it?
