Today is the day… Conservatives and Republicans can make historic gains across American and stop the Socialist agenda of the Left.

I can’t remember ever being so jazzed about an election, you must get out there and vote, and get other like minded folks to come too.

After the election tonight, a bunch of us Conservative bloggers and readers will be gathering at Papa’s Social Club, the bar attached to Mama Mia’s Restaurant on 77th & Burleigh, for an Election Night Drinking Right, and you are all invited to watch the results roll in with on on the big screen TVs. It’s going to be a blast!

Now get out there and vote please.

8:12pm-Fox News predicts GOP gains 60 seats in US House

  8. Roland_Melnick Says:

With 48 of 3609 precincts in…Johnson has 14,992 votes and Walker has 14,993 votes…each winning by almost 2 to 1. No surprise the vote tallies are so close.

  9. Roland_Melnick Says:

9:41pm-Fox News calling it for Ron Johnson. I didn’t note the exact time, but they’ve also called it for Scott Walker.

Two of the best examples of TEA Party supported, political outsiders-Ron Johnson and Marco Rubio of Florida have both won handily. In Wisconsin, the issues on everyone’s mind belonged to Walker.

    Congratulations, gentlemen. Do us proud.

  10. Jaeson Says:

    9:45 p.m.

    Walker 56%
    Barrett 43%

    Johnson 56%
    Feingold 43%

  14. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

Jaeson, is that correct? Johnson 56% and Feingold 43%. I guess the rest of Wisconsin apparently figured out who Ron Johnson is.

In his speech, Wall urged opponents who wanted to criticize him for not paying taxes like the little people of Wisconsin to “bring it on.” I guess his GOP critics were the first ones out of the gate to do so. Well done, GOP. Well done. As for the rest of the state, they can start asking the main question of Johnson: Who are you? Prediction: Feingold by 10 points.

  15. Jaeson Says:

At that time it was correct. It may have fluctuated a bit since then, and may fluctuate more as the reporting approaches 100%

  16. Jaeson Says:

Fox is now reporting a 51/48%

Quite a few of my acquaintance are sniveling about moving out of WI because they’re ashamed to be from a state that could vote out Russ Feingold. I offered to help them pack…maybe I should have suggested the bridge.

I’m bummed about some of the other states, but very very pleased about Wisconsin :) When I moved here in 2006, I never imagined a vote against Feingold would be anything other than a futile symbolic gesture.

JSOnline reports RJ v RF at 53/46% as of 12:17am…

…Meanwhile, I just watched MSNBC for almost an hour. It was less of an election coverage newscast and more like a group therapy or grief counseling session…each taking turns saying “I’m OK…you’re OK.”

The only reasonable thing said was Chris Matthews saying newly elected Senator from Pennsylvania, Pat Toomey-R, is a decent and good guy who ran a clean race.

The rest of the time was spent pounding out the drumbeat that the TEA Party is dead because people like Olbermann and Maddow, people who took the time to personally interact with TEA partiers…who walked/talked among them with open minds before looking down their noses at them…OK, Olberdouche and Madcow did nothing of the kind. They have been in overdrive mode desperately trying to define the TEA party as revolving around Sharon Angle and Christine O’Donnell. Meanwhile, they will say little about Ron Johnson. From what I had seen of them, O’Donnell and Angle seemed like weak candidates…born more out of voter frustration than anything. The MSNBCers, perhaps clinging to some victory…any victory out of the hotly contested races really made a big deal of a race that was decided by fewer votes than that received by the incumbent Wisconsin Treasurer alone, who FAILED to win re-election…Dawn Marie Sass!!! While Reid’s re-election is important in terms of control of the Senate, it hardly detracts from the sweeping changes made by the electorate today.

  19. Roland_Melnick Says:

Other few other races of note:

Barack Obama’s former US Senate seat is now in Republican hands…as is Teddy Kennedy’s from the last election…combined with a record-breaking swing of power in the House and individual Statewide races across the country…this surely is no repudiation of Obama’s radical agenda…naaaahhhh.

The Wisconsin Senate now has a documented thief in its ranks…Chris Larson…foisted upon us thanks to teacher and labor union special interests. Funny thing is…elitist Lefties who loved to tout the educational and professional creds of Russ Feingold, ignored those same things in Jess Ripp. I guess nothing beats owning your very own State Senator.

    Nutbar Steve Kagan tossed out.

Gwen Moore trounces Dan Sebring without the need to send her son out to disable Republican Get-Out-The-Vote vans…call it the silver lining in this little storm cloud. Sorry Dan, there’s a political machine behind the inches thick layers of makeup.

Leah Vukmir beats the slimy Sullivan. Congrats, Leah!!! I knew your opponent was desperate when he claimed you, the candidate endorsed by the local police and fire unions, were weak on public safety.

And finally, while Ieshuh Griffin (candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly) is definitely not the white man’s bitch…oddly, it was another black woman, her opponent Elizabeth Coggs, who gave her the smack down 92%-8%.
