  1. PCD Says:

Sure Patrick, you do. You want to get beat up by union thugs and become a YouTube video like the guy from St. Louis who tried to sell Gadsden Flags outside the Democrat congressman’s town hall meeting? I’m sure people like Crapper would love to sneak in a sucker punch or two.

  2. Patrick Dorwin Says:

What? The compassionate and tolerant Left? They wouldn’t do such a thing, it’s the Right that are mean and nasty and hateful, isn’t it…?

  3. HeatherRadish Says:

Again, no mention that they discriminate against blacks when hiring.

  4. Patrick Dorwin Says:

Heather, you are right. I just called them out again in their comments section, let’s see if it gets posted.

Community groups and unions begin campaign for high-speed rail

I think the voters spoke on Novermber 2nd in regards to their desire for worthless high speed rail.

  6. Glenn D. Frankovis Says:

I had other obligations today or I’d have loved to go there with a sign that read: “We WON! You Lost! Get over it!” This is going to be alot of fun watching their heads explode every time Scott steps on ‘em.

  7. Patrick Dorwin Says:

200 union thugs rally for the choo-choo, big news… 1,127,798 vote for Scott Walker to kill the train, media acts like it never happened.

  8. callahan Says:

    A message to Scott:

    Scott,
Keep up the great work. You got these union thugs all bent out of shape already and it’s only Nov. 15th. They put up a billboard mocking you, but wait until the taxpayers of Illinois have to fork over their hard-earned tax dollar to pay for this piece of garbage year after year. That’s when it’s gonna get ugly. Hold your ground. Be tough and smile. We’re on your side!!!!!

  9. gus Says:

Did they give out donuts?? Crapper likes donuts.

  10. Paul Says:

The thinly veiled death threats have started over at Blogging Blue.

  11. Roland_Melnick Says:

And there was WTMJ 4′s Nick Trevey to read the rally organizer’s talking points for them. His piece also included comment on Crybaby Mike Tate’s stupid “thanks for the free money” billboards.

Wasn’t Trevey or WTMJ4 exposed as one of SEIU’s willing partners in the campaign against Scott Walker?

  12. Roland_Melnick Says:

“1,127,798 vote for Scott Walker to kill the train, media acts like it never happened”

Excellent point and well said Patrick. Don’t forget all the specific referendum questions that overwhelmingly showed significant OPPOSITION to this colossal waste of money.

Regardless of the forum, if you ask a pro-choochoo person why this money has to be spent on a train and nothing else, the only answer I’ve seen is “because that’s the condition Obama put on it.” It really exposes the reality that this isn’t about creating jobs…just fulfilling liberal fantasies.

  13. MjM Says:

Have you noticed how the benefits of the choo-choo keep rising while the costs keep going down?

    Jobs keep going up…

The number of jobs at Talgo went from 80 to 125:

“Governor Doyle announced Friday a $47 million agreement with Spanish train manufacturer Talgo… and bring 80 jobs to the state to manufacture and maintain the trains.” - July 17, 2009

“Spanish train manufacturer Talgo Inc. is expected to create up to 125 jobs after converting the former Tower Automotive plant on Milwaukee’s north side into a train set assembly factory.” - March 10, 2010

Construction jobs go from 3000 to 5500…

“In addition, 3,000 construction jobs would be created over a 10-year period.” July 17, 2009

“During the next 2.5 years, it is expected more than 5,500 construction workers, engineers, machine operators and others will be working to create track improvements,…” - July 30, 2010

And yet the costs keep coming down…

“Busalacchi said that the stimulus funds would only be a “down payment” on passenger rail, with the Milwaukee-to-Madison rail line costing state taxpayers about $15 million a year to operate. - July 22, 2009

“Walker has said he doesn’t want state taxpayers to pay operating costs, projected at $7.5 million a year, starting in 2013. A state transportation official has said state taxpayers’ share could be as little as $750,000 a year…” - November 4, 2010

It almost as if they are just making this shit up.

    ~nudge~nudge~

  14. stalker3 Says:

Did they all use public transportation to get there?
If they didn’t take the bus, they are all hyporites.

  15. J. Rawson Schaller Says:

    Roland,

You are correct. Mick Trevey’s been caught at this game before.

Mick Trevey is a hack journalist.

  16. J. Rawson Schaller Says:

By the way, anyone heard from Karen Jeffries lately?

  17. mr. parker Says:

How many times are the fools that actually support this train going to use it?
If they feel that the train is that important, they can get dirty Doyle to authorize it, he’s still governor.

This was just a campaign issue to try and help Barrett and now it’s an issue to try and “derail” public opinion about Scott Walker.
