In the days following the announcement of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as the Republican VP candidate, several BadgerBlogger readers commented that they were so energized by McCain’s choice for running mate, they had made significant donations to the Republican Party.

Apparently, you were not alone. So reports The Washington Post:

The first-term Alaska governor has already been good for McCain’s fundraising efforts. Of the $47 million he raised in August, $10 million came in the three days after he announced he had chosen her as his vice presidential running mate, the campaign said.

It’s interesting to note that since Obama lied about taking public financing, his money isn’t flowing like he thought it would.

You gentlemen want to see some derangement?
Check out Folktunes site. It’s almost scary how unhinged and hateful these nuts are. And desperate.

The radical feminists are pretty unhinged about Palin too as this blog entry explores. How dare people consider voting for a ticket with a strong, independent (but non-liberal) woman on it? The hypocrisy is hilarious and revealing.

It took McCain three days to do what Obama did in one. I’m sure Obama thanks McCain and Palin very much.
