The Carnival of the Badger was the brainchild of Nick, from The World According to Nick. He wanted a place where Wisconsin Bloggers could get together and strut our stuff, so he created the Carnival of the Badger.

If you don’t know what a Blog Carnival is, in a nutshell, a Blogger collects one post each from a group of blogs (usually submitted by the owner of each blog). The host then compiles them and makes a single post with a link to each submitted post. This is often done with a hood bit of humor or a theme, just to keep things fresh.

Who can submit a post to the Carnival of the Badger?

The Carnival of the Badger is open to any and all Bloggers from Wisconsin. There is no specific topic, political persuasion or style required, you just have to be from the Badger State. Just pick a post from the past week that you want to show off and send it in. Carnivals are great ways to drive more traffic to your Blog, and is a great way for a new Blog to be noticed.

How do I submit a post?

There are several options for submitting your post. You can simply email your Carnival submission to [email protected] or use one of the submission forms at Blog Carnival.com (top right corner) or the Conservative Cat’s Carnival Submission Form (make sure you select the proper Carnival). All submissions are due by 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and the Carnival will be posted every Thursday.

How can I host a Carnival?

Each week another Blog will host a Carnival, if you would like to help by hosting a week, drop Nick an email or leave a comment on his blog. We are looking for new hosts each week, so step up, join the fun and get a little more traffic for your own Blog.

To view past Carnivals and future hosts, stop in at the Carnival of the Badger page at BlogCarnival.com.
