Sure, it’s really pretty easy, here are the basics.
To copy and paste some text from a page:
Use your mouse, left click and drag the mouse to highlight the text you want to copy, once it is highlighted, click the right mouse button and click Copy.
Now go to where you want to put the text, click the right mouse button again and select Paste. This will make the text you saved print on the page.
To make a hyperlink:
Start on the page of the news story, in the address bar at the top of your browser, you your mouse to highlight the page address, then use the right mouse button and click Copy.
Now go to the blog, highlight some of the text (like the story title), then click the link button on the editor, just like in the picture below.
That will open a box that will make the highlighted text into a link, just use your mouse and right click on the text box labeled Link URL: and it will open the menu, then click Paste. This will place the copied address in the box, then click the Insert button and it becomes a link.
